I thought there was a post about this but I can't find it.
Prison is not allowing people out once their sentence has been completed. This seems to be caused by being logged off at the time of the release, but also sometimes even when you are logged in. Speaking to the phone to check sentence length simply does not state a timer and says you are not currently serving time.
I would assume adding another phone to do a manual release is the timer is "0" could be an idea?
