Police's newest duping technology

we actually breed sheep as my needs must be fulfilled, on a serious note though these ai can be quite dangerous as they can be ordered to drive shoot kill and in the wrong hands can be a massive pain in the ass, From what we've noticed 9 times out of 10 when someone's connection is abruptly terminated a controllable ai is left in its place

After having this happen for a long time and ending a lot of clones in my life I learnt the way. When someone gets kicked off the gamr there is a slight chance the body of a victim keeps moving if they are in cars the magic so called "vdm script" won't work. These demons can skip anyform of scripts and other vodoo magic sometimes they even open locked doors and kill everyone they see. Basiclly it's a npc who can skip all scripts amd does what npc's does they will kill pepole they will vdm pepole to death (I got kicked off and my npc went and vdmed some poor arac guys woch @TCK John Dillingerstopped) but ey now you know
I've already figured out it's an AI replacing a player who has disconnected. What I need to know is the *exact* circumstances leading up to the disconnect, and the type of disconnection. It doesn't happen when people Abort or Respawn, and I'm trying to narrow down what kinds of 'disconnect' might cause this. Grateful for the input though. But the million is still safe (because no 100% reproduceable steps were given, sorry).

There were tons of clones a little while ago, when the server was heavily lagging and everyone was getting kicked off for client not responding.

@TinyBigJacko is it possible your HandleDisconnect handler might be returning true in certain cases? Since that causes the player to turn into an AI when they disconnect.

Fuck knows, @Brick, tbh... I will investigate. A certain little northerner was mucking about with that routine recently, mentioning no names. Thanks for the tip off.

 
FWIW, @Brickwe don't use HandleDisconnect EH (not yet, anyway... we have a masterplan tho). We use the old onPlayerDisconnected EH still. AFAIK, that doesn't have the same issue, but I will experiment with hardcoding a 'false' return in there anyhoo, just in case. Worst that can happen? Altis explodes... usual shit... nothing much. ;)

Make another way of enabling it too, would be interesting to see Police VS UNMC ;)

UNMC would win. Police AI are trained the same way as the humans. Can't shoot for shit, and have no sense of direction unless there is a crumpet involved. ;)

Did your parents ever tell you lying is bad? Police would win any day. The UNMC are a bunch of cows who live on fields.
