Police ROE

it was a couple of days ago and they did have a silenced weapon it is the officers that are none silenced, maybe it is someone trying to get you in trouble, it has happened a couple of times recently, people using Neo's name and a couple of other officers.
Might be, I know it wasn't me as I used to help the guys in aC before 2 of them decided to get themselfs banned. So I know when Gc was made and I havent used Snowflake since before that.

Now I have to try and figure it out as I have seen SnowFlake a couple of times over the last couple of weeks

their is 3 snowflakes on the database all of which are bambies

nobody has tried it yet, but if you say to the officer I have taken your handcuffs off you, then they would have to RP it and not restrain anyone
ok then i'll keep that in mind, and guns? you can rp that you take their guns and search them or you must really take them?

and so i understand that a snowflake fked a good attempt of RP...

When it comes to weapons and comms you physically have to take them, yes it is RP but we alway like to hide a weapon just incase.

No you need to get them to drop their gear on the floor and search it, remember that you are not allowed to keep any of the cop gear apart from hat, as looting cops is against server rules, so put their backpack on take out the weapon and take off the backpack again, or just get them to put their stuff on the floor and leave it their

Just saying it probably is the same Snowflake you are thinking of. He arrives to every bank operation that he can and sets up just to kill cops. I have seen it happen numerous amounts of times.

There is a lot of things we could've done differently.

We should have checked the negotiator for any weapons, items that could have harmed us in anyway, plus his equipment, excluding the radio as we wanted money for the hostage. But this was really not organised + the position of the hostage was in that location as I could not drop him indoors.

The main reason was the random shooting which we now know is from a different party.

if he wasn't there maybe the outcome would have changed, with no bloodshed (what we [Gc] aim for)

Juts so you know guys you can drop them indoors, you just need to get someone else to un-escort them, I have seen multiple Hostage Ops where the hostage takers dont know how to un-escort in a building, it makes it really easy for us, we just walk up and take the hostages.

Thanks for that! I knew there was a way I just did not know how to do it.

Uhm, not to turn this anti-police but walking up to someone while they're trying to un restrain them and running off with the hostage seems kinda bollocks RP wise to me. Not sure if I've misunderstood the situation you're describing, but if you're talking about running into a hostage op and stealing the hostage while they're still being held (in terms of rp) by the hostage taker fucking sucks.

You did misunderstand, they leave hostages hidden outside but hide inside themselves, so we do what we always do setup around the area, locate the hostages, send someone in sneakily and just escort the hostages out from under their noses, then they have no leverage

Ah. This I can give you this for.

That's why I put him near the door and not down from the door so I always have eyes on him.

Thank you again Fuel for the information.

Well we have to try again!

Gonna have to steal us a cop car again today

Don't know who it was but know there were 3 cops... how could you leave your car open in the middle of athira with so many people around?

Good for us though! :D

I do hope you know tom martin clearly combat restrained... Knock out then restrain..

But then again who am i the one who tells officers that they are breaking rules

pretty hard to keep up with all the rules, although i think lots of cops saw the video and if he did something he shouldn't at least they will explain to him he shouldn't do it.

Not trying to get anyone on a bad situation, hope the adult comunity part came up on those cases...

but that's another thing, as i getted banned for shooting the jet... a simple warning would have suficient... but we all don't think the same way

Generally speaking, we aim to resolve any hostage situation peacefully. We try to only use force if it's apparent a peaceful conclusion is impossible.

Can't comment on the above as i've watched it but with no sound (at work).
Unrelated to everything else being discussed in this post, but it's actually the same problem as a bankjob. When the hostage is leaving or out of sight police open fire. I've also stated this in you bank job thread too.
