So has i hijacked Sterling Archa post (sorry for that), i'm now opening a new one just to understand how police ROE work.

This is the original post.

we have the ChuckNorris move at 3:24 and hostage shield at 3:26

if Jack opened fire at the police hostage and police would be dead...

Enough said about this, just want to understand how it works with you cops, would it be like real cops or just act like swat team when the option left.

This is just for future reference of hostage negotiation.

Generally speaking, we aim to resolve any hostage situation peacefully. We try to only use force if it's apparent a peaceful conclusion is impossible.

Can't comment on the above as i've watched it but with no sound (at work).

 
Just a side note, i had my revenge, stole a police car yesterday  :D

went around altis acting as cops (and people believed we were cops at kavala), just robed someone at cocaine process, we told them we were not cops just to be sure! so much fun!

until we crashed near one of your checkpoints and you cops started shooting at us again (we were fleeing after repairing the car)  :D

we were able to run away on foot though, you cops earned a car full of cocaine! if it did not explode in the meantime that is. 

 
Well i watched it too without sound, i don't really see the problem. (I'm a PCSO just here to learn about complaints)

You kept him hostage and another cop came in to free him, they were roleplaying, so i dont really understand the complaint.

I asked for ROE (Rules of Engagement) 

I never been a cop so i don't know how it work just want to understand that's all!

It's an attempt of a constructive post, not a complaint.

It was not a hostage shield at all you placed the hostage their and had to move in quicker than expected due to snikersbar opening fire on us without even being with you so Pure attempted RDM.

At the time how was we supposed to know he was not with you when he is right next to you shooting at cops,

We have already dealt with this in another thread.

So I do not understanding why you are bringing it up again.

1. you left the Hostage outside covered by a sniper above him.

2. the rest of you was inside.

3. the aim for us is to save the life of the hostage anyway we can

4. we got shot at from Snickersbar when we was setting up nothing left for us to do other than move in

 
I understood it wrong then, i though snikersbar incident was after you went in, not before.

as to the restrain, are cops allowed to do that? after told to drop on the floor in the middle of the confusing run towards a guy and restrain him? do you carry handcuffs on inventory or have like infinite? (just use the command and restrain people?)

has i said, it's not complaint!

just want understand what can happen with the cops so i can rp the best way.

 
you hear all the shooting in your video when you tell the negotiator to get down, thats snickers.

the restrain thing he should of knocked the guy down first but yes as long as he did not go around restraining everyone it is fine, we have a command.

he had one job which was to restrain 1 man

And about the handcuffs? can we take them off police or if we want him not to try anything only option is to restrain?

nope, your sniper got taken out with 1 silenced bullet by myself there was no fight with him, my officers was instructed by me not to fire as it would give away their positions, I was a silenced sniper quite a distance away, when our guys was moving into position Snickersbar engaged us, which left the officers no choice to "go loud", then the order to move in was given.

to deal with the officer you should of kept a gun on him, if he tried anything you shoot him

 
and yea its shit roleplay as a policeman would start waving the cuffs at someone pointing an LMG at him, its called powerplay so gg.

as for storming in guns blazing, thats all cops do here with no regard to the hostages lifes.

 
I will check if I have it recorded tonight, but it is doubtful as nobody complained at the time so i may not have shadow played it,

but it was definately you, unless someone else is called SnowFlake, you may have thought it was a bank Job as we had literally just finished it, but it was a hostage situation literally 200m away straight after the bank job.

Not sure if we killed you though I know I didnt, just took shots at you then you moved and could not see you.

 
1st I haven't used a non silenced MX in god knows how long, infact the only time I use a weapon without a silencer is when I use a Zafir.

2nd I haven't played with the name Snowflake since before Gc was made, so I don't even need to know when this was filmed to know it wasn't me.

Now had it been me, and I saw police surrounding the compound with the hostage in it, I probly would have opened fire as negotiations was off the table at this point. But that would be the police just looking for a shootout, not me.

it was a couple of days ago and they did have a silenced weapon it is the officers that are none silenced, maybe it is someone trying to get you in trouble, it has happened a couple of times recently, people using Neo's name and a couple of other officers.

That there… who said i wanted to shoot him? did not answer about the cuffs… we can’t take them off the police is that it?

then the only way to make sure he didn’t try anything was to cuff him, but there i would be taking a police hostage… and that we did not want to do at the moment.

Sorry but complaints and disputes are a few sections down, please argue about this on another thread, i'm trying to do something constructive here ok?  :)

nobody has tried it yet, but if you say to the officer I have taken your handcuffs off you, then they would have to RP it and not restrain anyone
