Police marked mechanic jobs

Police marked mechanic jobs dont work every time.  The first one i took no problems, every one since, i take the job then it shows on the map, then i get there i am unable to load it on the truck. not sure what the pattern of is, appears to be glitchy when it will and wont work.

Could someone help with what the trick is to make this work? it appears that if anyone accepts the job from the list it breaks it for everyone?
