Police at drugdealer

Am I mistaken if I can remember from previous tours, that Police cannot be at a drug area for more than 15mins? (Dealer / fields / processors)

Today the police held dwon the DrugDealer in Kavala for around 30-40mins.

It's actually 10 minutes. If you've had this issue I'd consider providing evidence and taking it to the PNC. I highly doubt any officer would stay for 30-40 minutes as it's against police rules and deemed as unfair. Unless they were dealing with multiple situations at said drug dealer.

do we have access to the Police Handbook? Didnt find anything about it in the server rules.

When we arrived, there was a shootout going on, when it stopped, the police searchead the area to make sure it was clear. (Which we totally understand)

but, when the rest of the officers left the area, 2 pcso's where left, hiding.

No, didnt save the recordings, as my intentions werent to report anything as I wasnt 100% on their procedures / rules.

@Morgan; We saw u come in with 2 boxes, we were THIS close to contact you through the "truck intercom" xD

Thought it was PCC? Police complaints commission, isn't PNC what high ranks use to keep logs of officers?

As far as I'm aware, cops can wait for 10 minutes before having to leave for 30 minutes. However, if they have adequate reasoning, e.g. a gunfight or noticing a few HEMMTs near the drug dealer, the officers would have the right to stay as they aren't camping, they have a reason to be there.

It depends on the situation.

If there is intel that trucks are coming or something is going down, they have every right to stay.

If they have reason to believe a truck is coming, they have right to stay.

Otherwise, they can camp for 15 minutes, and not return for 15 (I think, i don't camp these places so).

As previously stated officers can stay in 'illegal' areas for longer than 10 minuets which is the allowed time for camping. This is because, as @Dylan said we may have Intel on vehicles headed to the said locations. This can either be a rip off from civilians or other officers in helicopters/drones and ground vehicles.

Obviously there is common sense involved with regards to how long we wait.

The rule doesn't apply if we are going from one situation to the other as we can't purposely retreat and leave the area during a gunfight for the sake of the rule.

Additionally, any officers regardless of rank and specialised unit found intentionally camping drug related areas you are more than welcome to report them to the PCC (police complaint commission) with a roleplay formed complaint. Furthermore, you can contact SI/CSI's to discuss this and report the officers directly, WITH suffice evidence. Another alternative would be to inform the officers AFTER the incident that they are suspected of breaking police rules to find out why they stayed in that location.

If you have any further questions feel free to mention/quote or Pm me on the forums/teamspeak.

Yeah, I mentioned it above in my original post, that its understandable that they stay in the zone/city/area where a episode of whatever had gone done for several reasons.

I just found it hard to understand that two PCSO's (Who are still on training/trial) were put to stay put at the drug dealer all by themselfes..

But yeah, guess we got the answer we where looking for :)

It's not right that two PCSO's were 'left hiding' in a drug related area.

Personally I send them off in the vehicle to the station and walk back or call another unit for a lift.

You are correct they are still in training. If you see this happen again please contact myself or an academy member as PCSO's shouldn't be left on their own (unless the server lacked officers then I can see this as the only exception) at all.

Yeah, thats what we found odd about the whole situation. But I never had the intention to point someone out with this post, I just wanted to clearify how the procedures are, not only for myself, but for all of us thats experiencing this.

But alright, I'll send a bunny with a note next time I see a PCSO or two running around by them selfes :p

Police sit at the illegal areas all the time once they have enough people online and know they can win. This is from personally experience being in the police so don't just come at me and call me a salty rebel.

I don't see to as a salty rebel however I do see you as a salty cockend  <3

we can stay for ten minutes but that time resets everytime we meet a contact. also when that unit leaves another may appear. Its unlikely that they were capming, camping is just dull and no one really does it. sometimes Its just active enough (especially at kavala) to warrant staying for a prolonged time.
