In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was Banned for combat logging with a previous of tele-porting. The Combat logging occurred over the red zone when my helicopter was shot down it was late at night and a quit out without thinking. when the offence was realised i offered to reimburse the victims and offer an apology but i understand the need for a ban

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

i have been concentrating on IRL work as i am a seasonal worker and now the peak season has finished i get 2 days of a week!, i have been Playing Arma, Kerbal and Foxhole in the Evenings when i have an opportunity outside of family time with my 2 children.

Why do you want to return ?

I have been a casual Player on RPUK servers for a long time on and off. The last stint really got me hooked and i love the grind and Player interaction, especially playing with my IRL friends (never banned) i loved the norm of just copper running and pearl running. i found my way into gun running and selling with my friends creating the Kevala mobile gun store which created tons of opportunity for decent RP and i am sure the bearded clam misses our "Hobo special".

Why should we unban you ?

Apart from the one occasion of tele-porting and One occasion of combat log in the space of 3+? years i feel i have been a valuable member of the community in game (not hugely active in the forums). I understand the seriousness of the above and see how it has a detrimental effect on game play to others. I feel my RP is on point without any complaints or Conflict. I have learned my lesson and can give my word that the previous or any other rules will not be broken in the future. I really look forward to hanging around the bearded clam with my buddy's and hopefully setting up the gun store again, buying new property as im sure my last has been wiped and generally starting from scratch again and getting dug in with my free time. Thanks

An interesting case. You sound like a reasonably focused roleplayer but yet you broke some serious rules. As a self-proclaimed long time player, would you not hold yourself to a higher standard than to break two of our most serious in game rules? You got a warning from a staff member instead of a ban for teleporting which would often carry an immediate permanent ban and you didn't really seem to truly take heed of that warning and offer of help with the rules if you broke something else.

What will be different this time? You might be able to contribute but can I trust you to follow the rules this time?

I Agree with what you have said. I didn't take heed when i was lucky enough to just get a warning the first time, Pushed my luck and paid the price. Reality kicked in with this ban and i know you guys aren't playing around. Id give myself a good few seconds of think time before logging off or any other similar situation. Both issues are not Victim less and i understand this for sure now, especially being away from the server for so long and watching the streams on occasion. you can absolutely trust me to follow the rules.

Can you explain to me why we have rules and why we enforce them? Especially rules like combat logging?

The rules are there firstly to ensure that all players have an equally fun time and lay the mechanic for the gameplay which wouldn't be possible without the rules. If the rules were not enforced they would be pretty pointless and it would end up a free for all and not the roleplay server it is. Combat logging is especially detrimental to gameplay as it results in the logger keeping their equipment when it's rightfully not their's giving the logger an upperhand as they haven't risked much in the situation, frustrates the victim and  It also breaks RP and the flow of the game

I suggest in the future that you take warnings from the staff team seriously, a lot of time away from this server for something so easily preventable. 

Hopefully you won't get to a stage where you will need a warning. I hope you take a lesson from this and follow the rules going forward.
