In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I am still partly confused as to why I was banned from the forums. In my opinion, I was banned for giving a thumbs up to @Shaunlads comments (https://gyazo.com/bf611dfe94d35bfd76a6c28cfc132376 and https://gyazo.com/05025af6d4d45212af92a927dbc59854) after being restricted. A week before this I was given a one year forum restriction for my posts on the thread Wilco made for changes (https://gyazo.com/26028f52963904fcdc4b23cbb06b03b5 and my reply to his comment https://gyazo.com/b5474401f51c622d8d742cb67c957fbb).

Unfortunately, Wilco believes I have issues with the community (https://gyazo.com/10ebbdf786e8bf644a2f8536f912f7ae). I respectfully disagree. I have been a part of this community for nearly 2 years now and enjoy it here. I also regularly try to push for improvements to the server and get involved in discussions. I know my opinions can sometimes be controversial, but I don’t believe that is necessarily a bad thing.

Why do you want to return ?

I’d like to return because I enjoy being a part of this community and being involved on the forums in discussions and general chatting/banter.

Why should we unban you ?

I think I should be unbanned because like I have previously said, I enjoy being a community member and getting involved in discussions on the forums. I have never been banned here before and I don’t even believe I’ve had any warnings in game. So, I would appreciate being able to use my forum account again and remain a member of the community. Your opinion is wrong, There are ways of acting and there are ways of how you approach giving your "opinion" 

I think your trying to start some drama in this appeal, Your missing something very vital so If you wish to retrack your steps you had a content restriction lifted just to comment in that thread for the following status updates:





Now this is just trying to cause drama in status updates and also trying to start discussion about banned members, A banned member by the way who only follows the rules when he sees fit, Hes had more bans than some blanket banned gangs.

So continuing, Your restriction was removed so you could post again! and contribute in the thread, You then posted some long feedback which some I have taken on board but some points were just, well misinformed so i went into detail and took time to reply to you (You can see the replies in the topic), you obviously took it the wrong way just as you did my "hug" comment.... I don't give hugs that's why you wont get one from me





At this point your restriction was reapplied, It was clear you obviously had some issues and rather than giving your opinion and listening to the responses you rather just focus on one comment, You also submitted your feedback (that's why the restriction was removed) so it was time to reapply it.

Rather than sit out your restriction you decided to use the reaction system... (IPS do not currently allow this to be blocked unless a full ban is applied) You decided to use it negatively... Not reacting to peoples good feedback or suggestions or changes made but posts that got hidden due to others creating drama.

So yes i fully think either you do have an issue with this community or your just here to cause issues, Which is it ?

Oh and also notice how it was a forum ban only ? Was I not very fair with this ban after I opened that thread before any community votes were made ?

I agree with your comment on my status updates, at the time I did feel that the player in question did get hard done by. I know he can be a hot head and not handle things in the correct way but I did feel like a permanent ban was a bit too much. I just found myself frustrated as I enjoyed playing with him here on this community and didn't like how he had departed. So I put that status up. I know it was wrong of me to do and not the correct way to talk about something like this. So after my forum restriction, I instead spoke to our CM (King) to discuss it properly and without causing drama in the community. Which I know I should have done beforehand if needed.

I also agree with you on the fact that I did take your comments the wrong way, especially the hug comment. It made me feel like you weren't taking anything I was saying seriously. This annoyed me because I just want to see the community do better and believe some of my feedback could help with that. I'm happy to hear though that you have actually taken some of the feedback on board and hopefully that will make a difference. All I want is for the community to do well and to enjoy my time here.

I don't want to cause issues and I don't have issues with the community. I just want to carry on being a member of the community and helping to improve it where possible. In the future I will make sure to think before posting and not attempt to cause any drama.

I did notice and I also appreciated that a lot. You were fair with that and I'm glad I could still be involved in the community.

I am guessing you've been part or are part of another community.

I say that because when have I not taken things seriously ?.... You must be thinking i am someone else ?

I have taken things seriously for 5 and a half years... Dispite your misinformed views I took some stuff on board and even agreed with a thing or two we could change.

Here's a suggestion, I suggest that people leave the drama for somewhere else (Reddit)... and this would be a much better place

Ive unbanned your forum account and removed the restriction... have a think first in the future
