In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for very poor RP, At the time I honestly thought what I did was ok but after reviewing it a number of time after my previous unban appeal was denied I realised that not only was it shit on my behalf but totally unfair to those involved (thought about it from their perspective and realised how much of a dick move I pulled).

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Well since being banned I've had a few things change in my life, I initially started with hanging around in ts playing other games trying out other servers but was just getting bored not playing with my mates, but just after new year me and my other half moved into our new home and I haven't really touched my PC since, I've been trying to stay active where I can but a phone has its limitations but I've actually saved up enough money now to buy broadband and it should be up and running on the 28th of this month hence why I'm making my appeal.

Why do you want to return ?

I've been here a long time and made some great friends as cringey as it sounds this is like my second home, I love all the experiences and all the random people you meet here. To me there is no other place I'd rather be.

Why should we unban you ?

Because I'm not a bad person, I'm not toxic I don't go out of my way to piss people off and I try my best to keep to the rules! I've obviously just let it slide in December... all I can say is it was a stupid fuck up from me that I regret dearly! If by any chance I am unbanned I will take any punishment given too me.


P.s FFG halved my 6 months too 3 due to one of my bans not having good evidence, I know this is a week or 2 early but i want to try get myself back as soon as I can.

Whilst we wait for @FriendlyFireGuy I would like to ask you few questions.

Reece, I have known you for a long time now, we have been together in the Marmite Miners together a while back in which I know of your roleplay capabilities and how fun you can make it for everyone, you are a good lad, however you keep managing to get yourself into shitty situations that cause problems for our staff team. 

It's in myself and @FriendlyFireGuy's best interest to keep situations like this occurring that cause problems within the community. 

The decision it's self is not mine to make, however, what could you do in the future to prevent your name being dragged around and keep popping up on our staff's radar? 

 
I've learned from my mistakes I now know I need to think of others roleplay rather than winning a situation, I've realised I need to step back a access the situation more also and give as great RP as I can just like I use too! I've actually decided to myself if I do get unbanned that I will not be taking any guns out with me in game... go back to the old Reece smurf that liked to try talk his way out of everything rather than going for the fight.

Surely a comment regarding people reporting others is a silly thing to do and does not help come to a resolvement between the two factions?

However I do believe there is a post going around as of recent where TCK and UNMC are having banter since a teamspeak conversation took place between the two factions, maybe this was bad timing since things was heated between them at the time you posted that comment.

However, I'm sure @FriendlyFireGuy will come to a decision soon.

Before I was banned and had to take a couple months off I thought I got along with a few of the tck lot, it was nothing against them it really was just meant for a laugh and I thought they would of taken it but obviously things have changed in my absence. 

 
Right then!

I'm sure you've heard the old saying "There's no smoke without fire"

There appears to be a significant amount of smoke coming from your quarter Smurf - whether it's sailing 'close to the wind' rules wise or what you describe as 'banter' on the forum (as per the above TCK thread.)

I reduced your initial sentence due to some ambiguity with a previous report/decision however, it's clear to me that you were quite happy to get VERY close to the line on all occasions and the fact you had a 3 month reduced sentence ban was based on not much more than a technicality - it was by no means due to your outstanding roleplay.

The picture you've painted is one of someone that doesn't always focus on rules first which results in you getting close or indeed, breaking them - and it's not just one 'slip up'.

With that said, I hope your time off and the 'drama' surrounding it as helped your realise that bans are not done out of spite, they're done to protect the community as a whole and send a clear message to our players that this is a good place to be where rule breakers don't ruin it for everyone else. Furthermore, I hope you'll now show us the great RP I'm told you are capable of.

So I'll get you unbanned, but there are some conditions:

  • Future bans will result in a 9 month period before your eligible to appeal - (and appeal doesn't mean accepted.)
  • Any in game or forum drama I see from you will re-instate this current ban for a further 3 months (therefore making it 6 months in total as is standard policy)


Please post your agreement to the above and we'll sort it out. Please don't make this decision reflect poorly on me, or RPUK!

Yeah I agree to these terms and I'll give you my word that all you will hear about me from now on is exceptional roleplay
