In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned for using inappropriate language in side chat

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I took a break from Arma in general, spending more time doing other stuff and have been busy doing my GCSE's which I finished last month.

Why do you want to return ?

Because I want to get back into Arma and this is the best server to do it, their may be plenty of others but non provide such a high quality of RP and such an experience compared to this one.

Why should we unban you ?

Because I have matured enough to realise what I did wrong and why I shouldn't of done it and have learned from my mistake over the past 6 months. I also feel my unban appeal was taken out of context with a simple sentence containing "gulag" spiralling out of control into an argument about which camps were the worst, however I am only to blame for that for trying to argue with admins which I look back on now and see where I went wrong and what I shouldn't of done in that appeal. Overall I feel as if I am ready to return to the server and wouldn't break any rules again and that I have served a reasonably long enough punishment for what I did.

I cant remember the rest from in game it was a long time ago and though im guessing they were bad I feel after 6 months of playing on different servers and not doing the same thing I am ready to return

as it only shows what ive said it is out of context, although it is still bad what I said. this was the first major rp server ive played on and so I didnt relise how strict rules were considering what you can and cannot say and so I thought that what I said was acceptable however of course now I know otherwise.

explanation: (if i remember correctly)

for the first two I was talking about (first one) someone who kept breaking rules when someone else complained about him and for the second I think i was responding to the one who kept breaking rules.

for the third one I honestly cant remember, for the fourth one someone made a comment about his family dying in the gulags as a joke so I said only half of mine has

the fifth was a responding to another player in sidechat as a joke coming from the "!" and the sixth I cant remember

No I dont speak like that in real life and I dont think its alright to speak to people like that but the context matters as I was talking to people who were also putting the same things and I was just flat out saying words like that for no reason to people. of course either way I should not of said what I did and like I said back then I didnt relise the strictness on words and at first finding out I didnt understand as to why it matters for a few weeks but now I fully understand why you have these rules in case anybody gets offended by terms such as autistic and retarded.

I 100% understand as to why you banned me and others who spoke in the same way as me, not only does it make the community look toxic and bad but it can be offensive to certain people in the server and upset them, possibly putting them off playing again.
