because of my name: "neger". its kinda semi-offensive in swedish.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

playing arma 3 altis life and having fun with my friends

Why do you want to return ?

because its my favorite and only server i play on

Why should we unban you ?

Because i think it wasnt a big offence and that it isnt worthy of a permanent ban. Ill also have to include that it was a mistake since i forgot to switch back to my regular profile before joining the server and got banned within 3 minutes of playing. Which i understand probably makes zero diffrence in the result of my appeal but i had to point it out anyways. thanks

No dont get me wrong, i dont think you're daft and i dont underestimate you and i apoligize. it was not intentional.
Neger means n*gga in swedish and i was banned by a swedish mod. and i mean its semi offensive in a way that its offensive when used in an offensive and insulting way but can also be used in a friendly greeting way as me and my friends do with eachother as we are black.

Wilco, i wrote in my unban appeal that i forgot to change back profile. i did not say it to anyone in game and "that greeting bollocks" was my explanation to why i called it semi offensive. can you read my post again please. no disrespect to you.

And i have read the rules, it was an accident.

@mitzonk the thing i am struggling here with is how can it be an accident?

You had to type in that name yourself on your copy of arma... there's no accident there? Unless you're saying it was an accident joining with that name to our server

So let's go, I think you're one of those toxic kiddies that find it funny to be racist on the internet because it gives them a kick because they know their parents would beat the living daylights out of them if they knew the truth of their actions. Convince me otherwise.

I do fully understand that you think of me like that and honestly it was very stupid and immature on my part.

But im not a racist nor do i think racism is funny. I dont know what i can do to convince you otherwise without saying what i have already said.

What else is there to think.... its a strange thing to have as your name on Arma

You haven't really given us any explanation of having that name so we can only assume the worst

 
the reason for me having a profile with the name is because of when i played with my friend on a "single player" "coop" server/mission thing his name was chink because he is half-thai and then i thought it would be funny for me to have that name. it was funny in the moment for a giggle or two but in hindsight it wasnt funny at all

 
Finally, we have the actual story how this name came about.

I have unbanned you make sure names like this do not end up on our server, If we anything from you on our servers that is even remotely racist the next ban will not have an appeal.
