In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I posted a thread on the forums over a year ago about selling lots of guns. It was so long ago I can’t remember the exact details of the thread but I know it was trolling in a minor way. I was warned about it and stopped posting on the thread. I probably should have asked for it to be taken down but I left it there. I got a message from TinyBigJacko saying I have until 2pm the next day to reply to him but I was out for the day and didn’t see the message so I never responded. Now a year later I am trying to get back into Arma with my friends but I am community banned.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

The last six months have been relatively normal for someone my age. After I turned 18 I learned to drive and got a job in transcribing for several companies. Within gaming, I joined a counter-strike team and we have been playing at semi-pro level. Apart from that I don’t get up to anything really crazy or exciting.

Why do you want to return ?

Playing counter-strike all day at a high level can be stressful and tedious. Arma is definetily a good way to chill out and have some fun. Roleplaying is something I enjoy doing with my friends and why not do that on the most popular roleplaying server there is.

Why should we unban you ?

I know what I did before was stupid, I guess I was bored and just wanted some reactions to the troll post. I never meant to cause harm to anyone, I probably did but it was never my intention. I don’t think what I did was majorly bad. Just stupid and dumb. It has been over a year now so I think I have deserved my punishment.

@Mayan Its a little more serious than that, the notes advise you was claiming a member of staff was helping you rob houses, Upon checks it turned out you didn't have the guns you was claiming to have.

Very serious accusation bringing the reputable staff team into your no doubt attempt to scam people, Care to explain why you felt that was acceptable ?

The main goal of the thread that I posted on the forums was to create a reaction from the community and see what people would say about it. I didn't realise at the time how serious it was as I was very immature and didn't think through what I was doing without thinking about the consequences. I understand now that not just claiming a staff member was helping but even posting the thread in the first place was a stupid thing to do. I really regret posting the thread and realise how childish it was.

I never actually intended to scam anyone even though it looks like I was. I never had any of the guns in the first place to sell to anyone and I never took anyone's money that they offered for the guns. No transactions were ever made. All I was looking for was to see peoples reaction towards the situation. I never meant for the situation to get this serious.

Regarding a staff member helping me rob houses. Again, it was to create a reaction to see what people would say. Now looking back on the situation it was completely the wrong thing to do and I had no right to accuse anyone. I don't think I actually released any names of who was supposedly helping me as I new that would have taken it too far. accusing anyone, let alone a staff member was wrong. I understand that now.

It has been over a year since the incident now, I have had time to reflect on my actions. I know it was stupid and immature. I had fun playing on your server a year ago and I messed up my chance to keep playing. I would like to chance to show I have changed and have the chance to play with my friends. I am extremely sorry for causing all the drama and is definitely not something I will ever do again. I don't think I can say much more apart from I am very, very sorry.

So rather than scam you was trying to cause un-needed drama and bring the integrity of the staff team into question.

The amount of hard work that goes into a project like this, sometimes it takes only one dipshit like yourself to start leading a small collective thinking its the truth.

Hold your head in shame! Hopefully you will learn from this, Should i see any attempt of drama making in the future you will be gone without appeal.
