In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned as a part of an entire gang ban [EXP], the ban was, as far as I am aware, due to the fact we had our own teamspeak. This created the problem that the leaders of our gang were taking people away from the official server teamspeak and using ours instead, we tried to make sure we always used both but this didn't go down well, I believe some immature behaviour from some of our members didn't help either, when I returned in the morning I was banned, I proceeded to make an unban case which was instantly deleted without reason or cause. However I am not sure if there is more to the story as I myself never advertised our teamspeak and always made sure i was using both.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I've been playing other games from time to time however really I've stopped gaming, sorted my life out with a permanent job, I'm almost finished at college and I've just bought a car and learned to drive finally.

Why do you want to return ?

For a long time I've missed the server, I tried to find others but simply none compare to this community, my friends all still use this one and now being 2 years older than when I previously used the server I feel that I have matured significantly, I never broke the server rules, with a single exception of RDM which was a mistake i regret a lot. I have well over a thousand hours on this server, i miss the roleplay and of course the occasional action.

Why should we unban you ?

I was 16 when I last played, the ban reason was nothing to do with anything I ever did although I do understand the gang ban, I'm now 18, have a full time job, I'm now in my last college year, I'm greatly more mature and my skills of roleplay have increased dramatically. Although I may not be able to prove anything I've said, I'd simply love another chance to get back into this community, hopefully this time with a better group who don't break the server rules and get us all banned. If you check all my forum posts you can see I'm hardly a rule breaker, in fact I was one of many who used to record 24/7 when playing and report all rule breaking I saw, it almost became an addiction, not something I'm proud of but I hope this helps my case as it shows than I did truly love the community and I'm not just saying that.

I'm fully aware of the rule about bumping topics.

This is not intended to do so but rather to shed some further light on the situation which led to my banning that I was not previously aware of. I don't think this counts as bumping as I'm proving further information but if it is I'll make sure not to do it again, this will be my only reply unless requested otherwise. Obviously I was in the same gang and in a similar situation in which I was under the belief that it was agreed our private team speak server was okay to use for exclusive use on the altislife server.

Apologies for the reply but I thought this may help the decision making process as I didn't really, and still don't really, know much about the situation and reasoning for the ban, I simply accepted it and tried to move on.

Unfortunately, sometimes, gang blanket bans are issued if a group of individuals refuse to police their own gang. We cannot allow groups of people roaming around and giving other players a negative experience with impunity.

If you are in a gang, the rules and spirit of the rules here ALWAYS come first. If you have a gang member who breaks the rules, it reflects badly on your gang.

There are a few of the EXP guys creeping back in and that's fine - please just ensure that whoever you "team up" with, you follow the rules and take an "RP first" approach at all times.
