It was a long time ago now, but from memory I attempted to allow a 15 year old girl in to the NHS when the age limit at the time was 16. In an immature spout of anger, I accused members of the RoleplayUK development and management team of being peadophiles. A claim, looking back, was incredibly stupid and could of had huge consequences for many people.
After my ban I proceeded to attempt to disrupt RPUK services via abusing access to certain databases I had access to from my previous NHS Command Role. I also created documents with the intention of bringing a bad name to Roleplay UK. I remember attempting to be disruptive to the RoleplayUK Community for at least 6 months after my ban, including sending immature emails and at one point a baseless GDPR Email complaint.
I understand I have done a lot of things wrong, and if I have genuinely forgotten an activity I have done here, I will be happy to publicly verify any actions that Management wishes to bring to light in the comments of this unban appeal.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Since my ban I have played on many different gaming communities. Aside from gaming however, I decided to focus more heavily on my A Level studies, and am now going to University. I have also found a passion for development, and have pursued this by developing websites for friends as well as working on admin panels and white listing API’s for different servers.
Why do you want to return ?
Other the past month or so I completely forgot about Arma, as I have started a new part of my life. However checking my emails today, I noticed Wilco had sent an email regarding the new Unban system. I have always wanted to be unbanned from RPUK, despite what my prior actions may suggest, even at the time of me being an immature nuisance, I was acting out of anger for being banned from something that was a huge part of my life back then.
Under normal circumstances I knew an unban request would not be accepted, due to all the hassle and grief I have caused the community and its management team, as well as many of its members individually, however I see a clear opportunity here, as I now see that there may be the potential for the community to forgive me.
I genuinely really want to become an active member of this community again. I miss the days of having fun and having high quality Roleplay experiences with so many different people.
Why should we unban you ?
It would be a lie for me to say you should unban me. I think that given everything I have done, my ban is more than justified, for life. However, if there is any amount of forgiveness that could be given to me for my reckless actions, I would be incredibly happy.
At the time of being banned, and the events that followed, I was 17, and incredibly immature. Now I am at University, and 19, I believe that I am now much more mature and would not cause any issues. It’s hard for me to think of what to say for this section, I genuinely cannot excuse my actions from the past, due to the extent of them.
If you where to unban me, I would take the opportunity to try and become a member of your community again. I think my Roleplay skills are still up to scratch, and I genuinely am a really kind person now.
I understand I can’t type my way out of what I have done, so I would welcome the opportunity to talk to Wilco and other management members over voice, where I can give you my sincerest apology, for everything I have done, with the hopes that I can be forgiven and potentially allowed back in to the community.
