In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was in the gang EXP and that gang got blanket banned in 2015 around July/August. I had been part of the gang on this server for a total of around 600 hours. At the time when all the events leading to the blanket ban kicked off, I was on holiday and came back at the end of the week to find out what had occurred. The exact reasons I can’t remember now but I know there was some crap between some EXP members, some BG members and Wilco where some wrong things were said. Wilco then blanket banned the entire gang and I automatically became part of the ban since I wore EXP tags.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Games wise I’ve been playing League of Legends and CS:GO but even those I stopped playing mid last year as work and real life took over. I was contracting before and now I’m project managing construction work. I’ve been doing this for last 8+ months.
Why do you want to return ?
A lot of my core friends moved to different games and some returned to RPUK early last year. I submitted unban appeals then but was rejected for some reason. Something I’ve not really understood since I was not directly involved with anything that happened. To be honest I had given up hope of ever returning to RPUK.
However few months back some of my close friends started playing here again and now they are high up in the NHS. I would like to join because Roleplay was the reason I joined this community and Roleplay is the only reason I still want to play here. I’m not interested in gangs or rebel life. All I want to do is join the NHS and play as medic.
Why should we unban you ?
You may not know me personally, so I don't know if it has any use to you if I told you how I was in real life but you can ask anyone that knows me, I am not a toxic person nor do I care to argue with people over a virtual game. I am a very competitive gamer but not to the point where my actions result in effecting people badly in real life. That is not me. I know most people don’t think about this but I do.
But server related: I think I am very decent in roleplaying. If you allow me to rejoin, I’ll let my progress speak for me. I've also never done anything wrong on the server like breaking any rules or something like that. I am always mindful of my actions and again it is not like me to be involved with stupid stuff. Also I don't think I’ve ever been reported ingame for anything even when I was online on a daily base sometimes even more than 24 hours straight (back when I was without a job ofc). Towards other members ingame I am and always will be helpful and friendly and always up to challenge some people on their roleplay skills and ofcourse I like it when people challenge me to up my roleplay game.
Honestly I don't really know what you want me to tell you why you should unban me. I was a part of EXP but I was not part of the toxic stuff that took place. There was a screenshot floating around and you can see I was not online at the time as I was a moderator and had other tags… no one with my tags is on that screenshot even if my name had been changed. Not only that, but I totally disagree with everything that happened and I would have either stopped it or removed myself from the gang had it happened in front of me.
I understand the reason for the blanket ban as I too disagree with the actions of my gang and BG who we were allied to. Their actions especially of BG were totally wrong. I also understand that rules need to be followed if you want to remain part of a successful community. Without rules, it will be chaos and no one will give a sh*t about anything let alone how their actions affect others.
Finally if I am allowed to return, I will only be in the NHS as that is all I am interested in for the foreseeable future. I might eventually join the police but first I need to see what it’s like compared to how it was 2 years ago.
