In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I have robbed a guy in a green zone which is against the rules.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

I think it has been about a year now, I have not played arma 3 since. I have done some more music, composed a decent beat that was successfully sold. Now im focused on my A-levels.

Why do you want to return ?

I have a lot of free time since we don't have full days in sixth form. I want to spend this time on good old arma.

Why should we unban you ?

Not sure if me not being on the server for a year is a reason, but I also have contributed to the server by finding a bug on the website (which still exists) and reporting it to the admin. Its kind of serious bug on the website and I haven't exposed it to anyone ( and I'm not going to - no reason for this). Otherwise, i can't think of any other reason of unbanning me.

Why so many bans... a lot of people who have been here nearly 5 years now have never got banned, Why are you so different?

 
I believe that the time I got banned for glitching out from prison was unreasonable because it's not really an exploit as you get teleported back in and you don't gain any advantages from it. I'm very sorry, I was trying to remember/find the second time I was banned but I can't. If you can could you please remind me what it was?

 
So exploiting is fine as long as you don't get anything out of it?

 
No, it's not an exploit if you don't get anything out of it. Definition from Google for exploitation - "the action of making use of and benefiting from resources." Therefore it's not really an exploit.

Neither it's stated in the rules clearly enough that its an exploit. Almost all examples in the rules are exploits that people get something from by performing them.

Or here is a clearer definition from Wikipedia - "In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers."

I can sit here and argue with you all day, the fact is I got better things to be doing than allowing people back on the server that just ain't here to roleplay.

What kind of roleplay were you trying to perform as you tried quantum tunneling through a wall?

This is a roleplay server, people who are here to roleplay often do not get banned you keep getting banned, Your other ban was combat logging and the other one was threating to report another player on the forum.

Would you like to explain why you cannot just roleplay or are you going to quote Wikipedia's about that and waste more of our time ?

Sorry, but how am I wasting time? All I did was answer questions that you've asked me. Seems like your staff member can't look up a definition of "exploit" themselves - not trying to be rude or anything.

I did roleplay a lot, and I loved it. But I agree that I have made many mistakes apart from that. Hopefully, the details I provide will make you clearer on should I or should I not be unbanned:

I don't know if glitching out of prison is a break of RP or anything, especially when there were no players that were looking or that I was in roleplay with. It's not clear in the rules. I wasn't reported for glitching out, I think I was being watched by an admin and then i got banned.

The time when I got banned for combat logging, I was new, I knew about this rule. Also, I think I didn't have an account on this forum at that time or I just never checked it. What happened was that after I got revived by a medic, I ran behind a wall and closed the game as I had to go. I was reported but I never checked my forum account so I never replied to the report that was made on me. Btw It was a very long time ago so I might be forgetting some things for which I'm sorry. 

Those are probably still not valid excuses but I hope those details are enough to make you more understanding towards my case.

After this long time, I realize how fun RP and this whole server could be. I didn't value this server as much as I should have. Hopefully, you will give me a chance to show you how much I appreciate this server.

 
I am not here to waste time on people with attitude's nor am I here to deal with people claiming that morphing through a wall isn't exploiting.

You can either drop the shit and promise not to break any more rules or I can just deny this appeal and mark you as someone who won't fit in and doesn't want to be here, If we are to proceed with option 1 then it will be your last chance, the next ban will be permanent with no appeals (that's on arma and any future games)
