Brief Summary
Not sure if a suggestion similar to this has been posted in the past, but had an idea and thought to post it in case it's not been suggested.
Overhaul the Food Delivery job as it's mundane and one of the few jobs you get to utilize your personal vehicle.
Do a complete overhaul to modernize it and make people, including those that have been around for a while, want to do it.
It will work similarly to UberEats/Deliveroo/etc.
Detailed Suggestion:
I'm proposing an idea to do a complete overhaul to the Food Delivery job as it's very mundane and one of the few jobs you get to utilize personal vehicles. Right now with Food Deliveires you always start at the same board and the drop off locations are always <1 mile out and it gets very repetitive fast.
I want to propose a new app for the phone, which will incorporate this job, which works similarly to UberEats.
Players will drive around the city collecting orders from various places and dropping them off to various locations around the map.
These orders can be generated and be classed as "Local orders" or players themselves can put in orders for food and drinks to be delivered to them.
How will it work?
Order Generation
Order Acceptance
Payouts
Ratings (Optional as it's more of an addition, but would greatly improve realism)
The Pros:
The Cons:

How will it work?
Order Generation
- Players recieve orders through locals or actual players on the server.
- These orders will be shown via an app on the phone detailing the payout (distance and if a tip is provided true/false). The tip should be hidden so people can't cherry pick orders.
- If a player puts an order in they will choose a restaurant and food/drinks they want from it.
Order Acceptance
- When a player accepts an order a marker will automatically be placed on the GPS to the restaurant they need to collect from.
- Once the order has been collected a new marker will be placed for the delivery location.
Payouts
- Players will be paid based on distance and tips.
- If a player puts an order in they can choose the tip amount, if it's a local tip generate a number between a min and max.
- Hide tips on the order screen to prevent cherry picking.
Ratings (Optional as it's more of an addition, but would greatly improve realism)
- Delivery drivers can leave ratings for customers based on their experience. Example: You pick up the order and drive to the location of the drop off point. No one is there and its been a massive waste of time, you can leave a 1 star review for the customer.
- Customers can leave ratings for drivers based on their experience. Example: If a drive takes too long to deliver the food the customer can leave a poor rating.
The Pros:
- Will modernize the Food Delivery Job
- Will give people more reason to use their personal vehicles.
- Creates more player to player interaction.
- Might create a bit more of a money sink - if players put orders in they will be charged the price of the item in the restaurant + charged extra for distance to pay the driver and even more if they tipped.
The Cons:
- Dev work
