Not Able To Do Huron + HEMMT Transport runs no more?

So you used to be able to sling load a HEMMT Transport with goods in it such as diamonds, now you can only sling load an empty truck. Is this purposeful or a bug? If purposeful is there a reason why you can't do runs with the HURON and HEMTT anymore?

this was changed a while ago you can still sling trucks but there will be less space for you to store items in the truck

The reason is to reduce how much people can hold, as 1400 storage for a run was quite OP. It effectively reverted Huron sling loading weight to before tanks DLC

This is because virtual items now add weight to your vehicle, this affects both the handling of the vehicle and (if enough items) changes which helicopters can sling it due to the increased mass.
