Soooo after a long cleanup, I can finally present my caged monster

CPU: Intel I5-2500K @ 5GHz

Cooler: be quiet! Shadowrock SR1

GPU: Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X @ 1.17GHz

PSU: Thermaltake 550W (Modular)

RAM: 16GB of Corsair Vengance 1600MHz Low Profile

Storage: 180GB OCZ Agility 3.5 (2,5")

             1TB Toshiba (2,5")

Peripherals:

Monitor: 42" LG TV

            22" Samsung S22D300

Keyboard: Logitech G110

Mouse: Logitech G700

Headset: Logitech G930

Speakers: Logitech X-530

XBOX 360 Controller

Its a 3m LED-Tube that I taped to the back of my TV

But it is Multicolor

well get a GOOD CPU cooler.... give it 1.4V and apply a 50x multiplier

Well..... it works for me so why is it "How to blow up your CPU" mine stays quite cool at about 74°C after about 30min of 100% workload

Because my 4790K would blow if I went anywhere near 5 GHz

are you 5 real???

The 4790K should perform much cooler and thus it should quite easily be able to handle 5GHz

I have a Cooler mater hyper 212, not sure how much i can press it.

about 40-60 (depending on how far I set the range) with everything on ultra apart from post-processing and shadows

About your cooler... you have to try it out for yourself how far you can push it.

For example I think I reached the limit of what is possible with my current configuration.

Overclocking in general is always a thing of chance to get the right combination of CPU Voltage and Multiplier
