I haven't used a DVD or disk in probably a few years :p If needed I can always buy an external one I'm sure they exist.

If you have the money, I would suggest getting 16gb ram and an i7 instead, it will help a little with editing videos, if you haven't got the spare money, it's still a solid build.

If you can go for an i7 if you do more than one thing at once on the computer (stream and game).

If possible get more RAM as you will run your PC smoother.

If your going down the m.2 route make sure it is nvme compatible, i believe but am not certain that only Samsung make one atm.

Make proper use of that m.2 connection :)

Sorry, yeah agree with Samatlewiss up the ram to 12 or 16 and make sure you have page file and hibernation disabled

Okay so this is what I'm thinking:

Asus GTX 980 Strix vs the Ti?

850W Power instead so in 3 years time I can chuck another graphics card in there.

Regarding RAM, at the minute that will be fine but in 6 months I can just throw some more in to have 16GB, but for now with finance I will focus on other things, as the Ram I'm going to be getting is a very efficient 8GB its more than 2x as good as the 8GB I have in my current PC which in all honesty is a great PC still.

Reason for the i5 6600K is that its incredibly efficient but I am contemplating the  i7 6700K.

I had the i5 6600K and very recently upgraded to the i7 6700K

Both are great CPUs, I had the i5 overclocked to 4.8GHz and the i7 is set to 4.4GHz

I have benchmark results from both, you can check the Physics Score (ignore the overall score, I had my GPU setup differently in both) http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/6601886/fs/7043156

The result on the left is the i5 and the one on the right is the i7

It does get a few extra FPS in Altislife, but not too many more.

Ahh thats really interesting to see. If I were to be streaming gaming live, recording, editing and uploading as well as just gaming which would you recommend out of those. I will be using my PC 80% Gaming 20% Stream, record and so on.

To record I use ShadowPlay, it doesn't affect FPS, I'm not familiar with streaming but again, I'm fairly sure ShadowPlay had a built in function to do so.  But I would think it is dependent on your internet connection/speeds.

So I just got a quote on this..

Case:       H440 Red/black
PSU:        850w Bronze Corsair  CXM
MOBO:     MSI Z170 Gaming Pro
CPU:       i7 6700K
Cooler:     NZXT X31 Water Cooler
Ram:       8GB 3000Mhz DDR4 RED
SSD:        240GB M.2 Sata Patriot SSD
HDD:       3TB 7200rpm HDD
GPU:       Asus GTX 980 Ti Strix
OS:         Windows 10 64 bit

Unless anyone wants to add something or change something I'm gonna buy all of the above. Super exited :D
