Hello and thanks for coming to this suggestion regarding bus driving becoming a job within RPUK for all current and new players entering this great city!
So with this suggestion it is that bus driving becomes a job in the city just like Taxi driving is as of now, this would mean players have to go to City Hall and purchase a bus licence and CPC card in order to operate the bus these cards should come to around £10,000 from there the players will be required to head on down to the bus station located in LS and clock on there ready for their Job as a bus driver.
Once a player arrives at the bus station they should go to the desk and clock on, once the player has clocked on they will be assigned a bus located on one of the stands at the bus station the stand will depend on the route allocated to the driver (Routes and buses for that trip would be decided by the devs when they design this script and the bus will depart from the stand in which the devs decide that route departs from) This would mean that particular stand could have advertisements for that route and players could pay to advertise in the bus station also, so players wanting to catch the bus would know where it leaves from. The Driver can have a choice of 4 options, Long route, medium route, short route or random! This gives the driver a choice so if they want to make more money they can do the longer routes with multiple bus stops.
The way this will work is much like how taxis work at present, NPCs will be standing at bus stopes and the GPS will have a route decided by the devs there will be yellow circles at stops NPCs are standing at and where the driver has to pull in and collect passenegers, each passenger pays the driver say £500-1000 for their journey and then gets off later along the route.
For longer distance bus work the passengers could board at bus station and be taken directly to paleto via sandy shores only stopping at sandy shores, paleto and back to LS as a round trip with around 40 passengers or so allowing a roundway trip to give the driver £40k
This would be with this suggestion of UK buses:
The bus station and company will be player owned and will bring more RP!
The garage at the bus station could be owned by a new start up or an expansion of say tirenutz to have two shops! (Car repair shop)
Benefits:
Allows players a new job to earn more cash!
Makes a change and brings a new job to the city!
Two New businesses for people to own and manage!
Allows players to advertise on each stand and bus stops!
Allows criminals to escape from the police on public transport less likely to be caught/pulled over!
Allows people to catch local transport to wherever there going if they are going AFK for 5 mins or so!
Pros:
Brings more RP and businesses to city.
New Job for players to do.
Gives criminals/gangs a way to escape police without a trace
Allows more chances for advertisement around the city
Cons:
Alot of Dev work will be required.
May be buggy to start with as with any new project.
Work needed:
Scripts for the routes.
Bus station interior needs to be designed
Scripts for the bus licences
edited scripts to allow each passenger to pay the driver.
