The difference between the 3080 and 3090 IMO is not worth the price jump, when you compare the 2

For the ~ 13% boost I personally would not be able to justify that extra £500+, and you would probably be better off installing 2 3080's rather than 1 3090, and that would still save you almost £100

You'll have to wait about deciding on a Motherboard because I'm not sure whether companies will release some newer stuff to support the new Ryzens 

I believe the new stuff from AMD will have the same comparability as the current AMD CPU's, but very smart to wait till it's actually confirmed

Just got an update on my queue number for my 3080 order. Not looking good. At this rate I’ll get it in 85 weeks!
