I have a question about robbing rp. If a friend of you is getting robbed point blank. Do you have the right to shoot the robber and save your friend? or would this be a case of rdm?

I would still call that RDM really, you at least need to warn the robber to stop first as a minimum.

Okay and what if my friend gets shot?

I was just think this because the rules never say much about certain things occuring in altis life and how to react. This is suppose to be a realistic Role play server and if my friend was really getting held up at gun point i'd probably shoot someone if I had a gun

It is all dependant on the scenario. However if your friend is being held up and you shot the robber without speaking it may not so much be rdm just really bad rp, depends on what witnesses believe. So it is best to avoid that by always initiating first. But if your friend was shot after your warning then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't cap their ass.

This is asked alot and I believe (As I've mentioned before, i could be and usually am wrong because I'm a fucking moron), that if they just have them at gunpoint then it would be RDM, but if they've actively threatened to kill or in any way threatened life/made a death threat then you can shoot. Not sure though. I would stick to issuing compliance.

I am sorry to bring this back from the dead but I had a question about mugging, RDM, and me.  If someone attempts to hold me up. "Stop or I'll shoot"  and I manage to get around a corner or into a shop for cover and draw my own licensed pistol.  They come around with weapon out and I defend myself since they have already stated their intentions and/or fired shots while I was fleeing.  Do I have to tell them to drop the weapon or did they already initiate when they tried mugging me?  Thanks for clarifying this for me!
