So as you can see, I am a member of police, so am not allowed to use an IFRIT.

I would love to take part, so would it be OK if i used my personal IFRIT as civ, or even better, get given a hunter while on as police? or will thyis result in my removal from police.

Ideally, use a police hunter. Ask nicely, somebody might let you use one.

That would be up to police command.
