Lets start with a question: Is flying over a city Shoot-on-sight reason from cops?

    So Situation was, i tried to land next to General store at Athira to buy NVG for me and my friend that was doing Iron mining with me, I got shot by Mitch, i saw multiple cops there and got shot only by him... Chopper had depoloyed ropes and i couldnt cut them for like 30min... Like how chopper flying in restricted area is killable offence if im not doing any drugs and they havent seen me do them or w/e.

   Recently seen alot reports on Cops, didnt really care, until i had to go to forums myself in this matter.

Ty to this shit i go no more money. Cuz Mitch is ''cool'' cop... He said he has no time for me and im wasting his time, when he cant answer for his actions... Can this be dealt with here?

Why i didnt make -Report Police officer? Because none cares about them ive reported multiple players and got no replies, no answers, no anything.

Do what I do, message the police and ask for permission to land.

I do agree with you though, there is a fine for flying over restricted airspace so it shouldn't be a kill able offence, they should just fine and impound the chopper.

 
They have to text you first, but it doesn't sound like mitch just shooting, but maybe they didn't find it friendly because of the ropes :)

 
In their defence they have no other way of combatting you flying low over restricted airspace. Not much that can be done to change that though, besides texting you asking to leave and giving you warnings etc. Sometimes, especially at peaks times when the cities are basically just riots they don't really have time to type up a message.

 
Still Mitch oppend fire on sight, tough i had done nothing and just arrived...

As he said there were rebels or something in Athira after, still he cant shoot me on sight as just cause i ''might'' be involved and stuff.

Its same as  if - Does police in real life shoot the driver in the face if he drives more than allowed speed limit?

We do care, but there really aren't enough hours in the day to deal with all the reports we get - and manage the server itself. We require people to be patient, and if they aren't, it usually doesn't help their case much.

I'll question the officer concerned, but I am of the opinion that if you were landing or overflying Athira at low-level, you're already asking for trouble. Cities are offlimits to helicopters. Depending on how you responded to any orders to leave or land, that may have affected your chances of a pleasant outcome - but certainly, no, cops don't (or should not) routinely execute civilians for traffic (even airborne traffic) offenses. Trouble is though, this is not Mitch's style, so I find it hard to believe he intentionally just 'offed' you for no reason. I'm not saying he's blameless, but you haven't painted a successfully damning picture yet.

You neglected to say whether you were in the chopper at the time of death or not. You also haven't told us whether you said anything to Mitch, or whether he said anything to you, nor whether you sent or received any texts/chats about landing - so as a report, this is pretty open-ended, and subject to a lot of doubt both ways.

Next time, use the report a player - save yourself the embarrassment of everyone else pitching in with their take on things. If you want an admin resolution, that's the right place - if you just wanted to start a group whine-fest against the officer/cops, once again, that doesn't exactly paint you as a responsible citizen looking for justice, does it? It all has a bearing how your case will be perceived.

Give me some more info, and we'll see what happens.

I was Landing, got shot while landing, Got no messages, didnt say anything on direct or atleast tried, didnt send any messages myself cuz i had no idea that id get insta shot while landing in city.... I respawned and went to find Mitch, we talked, and then he said he is wasting his time on me, when we didnt finish the argue... And left... Said to bring this to forums...

 
I have encountered Officer Mitch on many occasions , always civil and fair ,often the 1st on the scene when trouble erupts..... Dosnt sound like the Mitch i know .

 
I have encountered Mitch & he seemed OK maybe it was a bad day & lets be honest it is only a game.

Lets not try to take it too seriously.

 
Mitch  said to bring this to forums... and he aint here... Met mitch in action before too and had no problems, seemd like an awesome cop, but still this situation... w/o even showing here... I really dont want to start again by picking apples, just cause he had bad day, can atleast he compensate me for the stuff i lost?

 
Im here, had a problem with the forum account not allowing me to reply to topics and personally me replying to this is just adding fuel to the fire. But ill make one exception.

This is from my point of view, how i saw the situation and how i decided to act upon in regarding what was currently happening around the area. 

Ok....

We was dealing with a situation of both random civ's - rebels and a whole other group of people with guns running around shooting each other. We had just started to contain the situation. This is when you come along, now we had already had a heli circling the city which i had text'ed to leave or be shot in the small amount of time i had to deal with the situation at hand (getting shot at).

Now then we restrain to my knowledge from what i can remember, 2 people who had rebel licences and fully geared. The situation was getting under control. You fly in with ropes deployed straight above us.

Now i then say to both(?) my officers that anyone deploys on those ropes to tazer them instantly. We have a hummingbird hovering above us with ropes deployed after 30 mins of constant gunfights. There is simply no time for me to text this pilot to move on so to speak. 

I put one (hip firing due to the distance your heli was at) at the bottom of your heli. 1 guy falls out, your heli crashes. We clean up the situation and move on.

You have to see that i simply thought you was about to drop a group of rebels to kill me. Simple as that.

Thats when you come along shouting the odds of compensation and saying im shit with no roleplay and all this other stuff before realizing you just flew into a warzone with police, rebels and random civ's RDMing.

Hopefully this clears anything up. I would gladly do the same again in a heartbeat if the same situation and mess was put towards me to protect other people, myself, cops, and even the restrained rebels.

P.S People on this server can have opinions on me be it negative or positive (thank you to anyone who confirmed how i normally am when WW3 hasnt just happened. )

P.P.S - The reason i told you to come on the forums was not because im too cool for you. It was simply becuase after 10 mins of talking to you we went round in circles time and time again and i wanted to move my guys and myself on back to Sofia.

I did fly you over and saw 2 officers, and tried to land at General store. it was like 70-100m from your location with clear sight over me, if i had been rebel transporting, none of them would survive if i laned there or they deployed from bugged ropes...

Love it :D 1 shot haha u spent atleast 15 bullets drilling trought my chopper... If there would be warrning shot id leave... but u started nailing my chopper instantly, first bullets damaged Main rotor rest of em hit hull and finaly got killed. Dont spit out this shit about 1 bullet... i tried to flee from your gunshots but didnt get far... MX is eats choppers for dinner, and Why you were only one shooting, but none of ur 2 other cop assistents shot?

Ofc, if warry of that too, but clearly my landing spot would be right in PO faces with rebels? Common logic, there aint none who would do that, who had chopper and could fly it... Because bambies doesnt get that far -_-

But what RP is shooting down a chopper that just flew in and tried to land next to cops? Not obvious? ITs either neutral or wants to drop Rebels for u to arrest them before they even steps a feet out of chopper? Warzone? None declared attacking it so it cant be warzone, only independents having fun, i got no words whatsoever about anyone attacking Athira, nor did i hear shots when i flew into it no nothing,

Hopefully this clears anything up. I would gladly do the same again in a heartbeat if the same situation and mess was put towards me to protect other people, myself, cops, and even the restrained rebels.

You mean 4 min? Yes, thats what you should do, if you have no time to Write msg then do a warrning shot... 1 WARRNING SHOT! and you dont even need to shoot at chopper just at the dirrection, pilot will know its trouble and leave, if not, its hostile and then you can spend all your mag into it...

Only reason I came to forum to light this field on fire was to see your ''flower'' planting skills, i just wanted to see how you will get out of this situation, how much ''flowers'' will you add here. Ive met you before and you were astonishing cop at your work, and im happy, but with this i can see u really dont like u take ur responsibilities for what u have done wrong... You know about that shooting... it will be same as i go in server find someone, draw my gun and shoot at him from hip fire and then say that i aimed for a Fly flying behind his head...

I really dont care, if none beleaves me because Mitch has been here longer and is well recognized cop for his duty, but as i said i just like to see him, how he crawls out of a pit, with his hands or mouth :)

I tested this recently... i got 3 warning texts from the police before being fired upon :)
