Hi,

Banned after a firefight with police. Nothing random about it. really not sure what I done wrong at all...

Set out with the intention of finding a police car to rob someone at oil trader, got 150,000 bounty trying to lockpick one. 2 cops showed up. They shot my wheels out as i tried to get away. One cop came up tp me telling me to get out. I took my katiba out my bag as he was walking over. I said I'd get out if he put his gun away. He said get out again. I said I'm not going to jail. he said he'd pull me out so i got out and whacked him. exchanged fire with his pal and he also died. tried getting another car because mine was wrecked when a police chopper flew over with many cops on the mounted positions. They were all armed with gucci weapons and as they started to land I fired a few shots to dissuade them from landing. They landed so I emptied a clip as I was gona die anyway and thug lyf. I've got the video but the audio is garbage. It's shadowplay and for some reason is like, fast forward squeaky voices, the officers will have better video. 

If i fucked up I honestly can't see where. Not saying anyone got butthurt I'm just saying maybe the insta ban was a bit heavy? 

I am genuinely trying to fit into the community here. It's tough though. If I fall into a sort of grey area without breaking a specific rule and get banned it's kind of disheartening. I'm not just here to cause trouble. I was actually a TLU mod on the old arma 2 and dealt with RP issues often. If it's pointed out to me exactly where the RDM started I'm able to avoid it in the future.

We perm ban every rule breach.... its not heavy thats the way we do things here.

The ban was for combat logging - 

This is considered exploiting and one of the worst things you can do here at Altis Life UK

 
Wait... just noticed thats a old report which you was unbanned for.... so unsure what this is about....

How much roleplay went into this ? "thug lyf" doesnt really suit this server

@Wilco The RP was in the sense that I had killed 2 cops, almost a half mil bounty that I could not pay and did not want to spend 30 years in jail. I had killed 2 officers after some dialog (me refusing to get out and him treatening to pull me out) Their bad drills gave me a chance to escape so  I took it. Then a hummingbird with 4 or 5 officers landed after me firing a couple shots at them. They were firing lethal anyway. I feel like everyone knew it was a firefight. Just struggling to see where the firefight ended and RDM began so I can avoid it in the future!

What members of the Police were present so i can ask them to come on here and provide videos etc ?

Exactly. They must have thought I done something wrong if I get a ban with that message within about 3-4 mins of the police stopping me. @Wilco.

I'll get you the names and hopefully the vid when I get back home in about an hour.

Sorry for the late reply. Thats the video finally uploaded  http://youtu.be/0OD1rUbI4Kw. As I said...audo is garbage. You can't even hear me but you can see my mic is initiating from the "direct chat" box at the bottom and the "speaking" writing above my head. I'm not actually sure though If they could hear my audio on their end, this may be a problem.

Also, I just noticed. The last cop I killed was Neo. This is also the name of the admin that banned me right after I killed him (don't know if that is worth a mention)

Skip to 08:36 in the video to see event.

-First cop was PC dzul. He's the guy that stopped me.
-Second cop was PC Harkonnen (his partner) you can see shots exchanged.

skip to 10:50 to see the other police arrive in the chopper

-I'm still trying to find a car when I notice it's the police. I don't engage.
-They fly over again and line up to land.
-I fire 2 shots only to dissuade them.
-I wait till it's obvious they are getting out before firing for real as I have no escape
-I get a 3rd kill CSI Neo.

I get banned by Neo
 

 
Yup, I even streamed this, lol...

I turned up at the scene, and was instantly fired upon, no roleplay.

will get my segment..

 
to be honest, your own video shows enough, you were asked to step out the vehicle, and instantly opened fire.....

Those officers were killed so quickly they didnt radio in or anything.... so yeah...

and when it came to us, as shown in your video, wierd desync....
