my observations recently when we have been getting to 70+ on the reg the server seems to get all sorts of crazy with textures disappearing or slowly popping in and out (even on normal textures) Crashes are more frequent and systems lag out and it takes a good few seconds for them to catch up

When the numbers drop below 70ish it appears to go back to normal

Would lowering the capacity limit the scuffiness?

 
Fixed for me by lowering my graphics, game still looks good, even with 140 players. Dont think there is a need to lower it

It isn't anything to do with player population, but it is just a byproduct having more players on something we didn't account for with streaming assets but will work on fixing it.
