LOA - Poor roleplay, as usual

Why do you assume it is our problem that we don't role play well enough when even civilians are beginning to notice that LOA don't role play well enough?

Honestly, it's a major double edged sword, the poor role play that you emit can cause you to have a large advantage within certain situations, such as saying things like "STOP FOLLOWING IFRIT OR DIE" which isn't role play whatsoever, something along the lines of "Please avoid the Ifrit, you know who they are, you know what they are capable of, this is a warning, you follow and so will the danger you are putting yourself in.." doing something like what I just wrote not only inspires caution, but it shows that through constructive writing you are able to instil a fearfulness into the opposing prospect. Similar to when you rob someone, intimidate, shout, call out things and insult them until they do what you say, you have an insignia on your vehicle for LOA, you can point at that sign and say "Do you know who they are? They are the devil and destruction, and you are about to meet your destruction, give us this fucking vehicle or I cannot promise what they will do to you." Understand?
And that is a great example.

I dont know for how long you been here, but it all started after Mitchell and the other good officers was kicked / banned, and maratek took over, we've talked with maratek about everything for a long time ago, but the way we was threated by the officers went worse and worse, and here we are now, i do not think, you are the right to speak to since it clearly seems that you haven't noticed any changes the past 4 months.

Not saying i aprove it but, in real life rebels/cartels don't even warn police before they start shooting. What do you expect us to do? Get out of the ifrit and before you can say a word you are restrained.

i would like to add, maybe if you try talk to the person when he steps out, instead as puppy mentioned, run up to him and restrain him and then talk.

This night i got a report of an accident with 3 LOA people. I got there and revived the first one, his roleplay was bad and the first thing he did was grabbing his money & weapon. The second guy said some things and his roleplay was not bad. Only the third guy was a good roleplayer. He played that his tongue was bitten of.

So not all of them are bad at roleplay. Just a few. ^_^

Thing used to be better. It used to be that if cops chase you and they get shot, that they would accept it instead of reporting it on the forums for RDM.

So that gives you the right to use lousy RP?

I would like to say yes, but i cant, i would like to thank the officers and the community, that they still go around and think we are douchebags, i feel your pain.

I dont even want to respond anymore but i feel like i have to, it's like talking to a steel door, but doing it because you are bored. so let me explain this very fast.

If the cops would like to improve thier RP when they engage us, then we are willing to improve our RP when we meet them.

Two sided way, your call.

No one is saying you can't shoot cops after / during a chase....just vary it and don't just spend every minute trying to get chases so it ends up in a shoutout. Try some RP now and again...no one expects rebels to be Mary poppins but this is an RP server, others are available.

Well this isn't going anywhere is it? Everyone's wrong I suppose. Screw it, I give in. Just like in game...people always wanting to win. It speaks volumes.

More RP would be awesome, but it needs to come from 2 sides not only the rebel side. Its easy to complain about another and forget to lok at yourself. We should have a rebel/police meeting ASAP

Read my posts mate...I've played both sides and the police are working on it... Whilst loa etc refuse to identify there is a problem they won't be willing to work on it. (It's not just loa)
By that very nature the fact the cops ARE working on it suggests they have identified there has been problems that need to be fixed. I've been a rebel much longer than I've been a cop (2 weeks or so) there is a widespread objective to "rp everything" (actual term used) in the police believe it or not.

Until those concerned identify the community at large have a point and there is a problem, this issue will NEVER be resolved.

Just tired of all this bullshit about LoA is dickheads all of them

Seriously the persons acting like that should get a over it.

Shit have happened yes, shit has been solved yes, or apparently not because they are butthurt and wont resolve or see it.

The reason LoA members escape every time, could it maybe be because

1. They are better shooters?

2. They are more organized?

3. They have experience in alot of different situations

We experience alot of situations more than once per day, so dont you think we got a bit more experience aswell than you get by your module training?
They have good allies? ahah

It's like this, you guys always say "You cops don't RP", " You cops arrest us on sight", "You cops have a vendetta against us".

No. We don't. We're just people playing a game, trying to have fun. Sure, some are better at RP than others, like you guys. But honestly, the whole "you cops" thing gets old. If you wonder why cops may go after you, try not driving through towns in vehicles that are not allowed or openly walking around populated areas with huge fucking guns. Most of the time cops are following up on a report of a robbery etc and there you guys are, armed to the teeth in a civillian area ready for a fight.

Now I try to see it from boths sides: We all want to have fun and play but honestly, you guys seem to troll and get off on killing cops. It's not fun for us and you fellas are right on the line of what is bannable sometimes and you know it.

I think all the guys are saying is that we're here to play and enjoy ourselves. Most cops are cops because killing is not their thing. I certainly see a shoot out as a last resort when RP has either failed or a shoot out was the intended end game all along. I don't like seeing regular guys banned but if you want cops to be less agressive try not being the top guys on the wanted list who are driving Ifirits through towns and racking up a death toll like it's Call of Duty!

I'm gonna scratch under your neck and give you a belly rub.

Here is an episode from yesterday evening. This is what can happen if you don't restrain us instantly. Thanks to RickDB and his mate.

Before this video started witch Cool posted we actually tried to brake the speedlimits, the 3rd patrol which we met was the one stopping us.

So what i think is going on is Metagaming, the see our LoA tag and have the mind set that we only wants to fuck about with them.

This is correct. I will also be uploading that ;)

Cool - Great, nice to see something different. I've seen you play well before, but you guys have to acknowledge that to many others (cops and civs) they have a problem with your RP on occasion (including me). Accept that everybody can't be wrong and do more of what you did above and I think you'll find you'll get an easier ride.

I think it's probably reasonable to expect that when some people do see the LOA tags they immediately think: I'm going to get shot instantly / kindnapped and get a bit of bad RP so i'll avoid the situation but that's a scenario that has happened naturally. With more of the above, you may find that reduces. I'll be honest, when faced with that prospect i've often thought exactly that and carried on down the road to find a better RP experience.

But cool, you need accept what the community is saying:

Do you think in some instances your RP could be better? (I know mine can be)  If you don't then this sort of thing will carry on, if you do then great, acknowledge it, make the effort and let's all move on.
