Linking Steam Problem

For the last half hour I have been trying to link my steam account, but for some reason it wont let me. when I click the sign in with steam it takes me to sign into steam as it should but after I log into steam and it redirects me back to the account page it still says sign into steam so I thought perhaps I did something wrong and I clicked Sign into steam again but it comes up with my profile picture for steam, my name tag and a green bar that says sign in and next to that it says not you. If I press sign in again the same thing happens again and if I press not you and try sign in again the same thing still ends up happening. hopefully one of yous will know what to do because obviously what I've tried isn't working

 
This login method is currently down. A solution is being worked on I do believe.

Not currently, you can go on profile settings and I think show your steam name etc but I can't remember if this links your account.

There is no mandatory requirement for this either so don't worry.

it's only because i was trying to find my name on the stats thing but there's more than one person so i can't find which one was me an i don't have my steam ID so i thought if i linked my account i'd be able to, thank you for helping me by the way

You can find you player ID by going to the arma 3 main menu>profile (top right)>edit>copy player ID
