Hello everyone
I've been playing quite a bit as a park ranger and I think that there's few changes that could be made to the job. Since the server is UK based we're going to be talking about UK Park Rangers.
I think that the rangers lack the variety of jobs that they can do and most of it is just photo taking. However, in the real world park rangers are extremely involved in the community of the park where they're working at. I think there is a huge chance for great RP involving the public and the park rangers.
Think about it, park rangers do a lot of work, patrol the parks, lead walks, field work, tree planting, fixing paths etc. These are all additional jobs that could be implemented to make the job more fun and actually unique. For example "Hey, fencing on the cliff broke. Go fix it" even this would be way more fun than driving across the map to take a photo and then drive back where you end up barely making profit because you have to refuel your car every mission unless you want to rent a new one every time you come back.
Since not a lot of people do go into the mountains unless they're doing shady business trading devil's lettuce and baby powder. Maybe allow the park rangers to interact with the locals there? A option to accept new jobs from your car would be great to, or have a proper radio like most other jobs do would be great instead of having to drive all the way across the map to find out you have to drive to basically the same place.
Feel free to drop your thoughts too. I'm curious to hear your opinions on this.
Forgot to add: Currently I think that most people only take to job so they can unlock the musket and resell it to people for profit, which I guess could be classified as abusing?
