I should have took it from the announcement post as for how it happens its when I go to the server tab, click a server then click join my cursor changes to show its loading then it stops after a few seconds and I waited 20 minutes and it has not loaded up arma 3.

Actually I think I know the reason why it is not connecting in the settings of the launcher you can change thr executable it says 'arma3battleye.exe' every time I try change it and reload the launcher it default to it far as I'm aware it should be 'arma3.exe'

Nope like I said keep defaulting to 'arma3battleye.exe' and it needs to be 'arma3.exe'

Thanks for the tag @Darkeh but will have a proper experiment with this in the morning if I haven't already been beaten to it by one of the techies.
@Jalkoth Your theory about the .exe sounds promising but I would have to try myself and see if I can change the target .exe as it will not boot through steam correctly otherwise.
When you say "it keeps defaulting" are you attempting to change it and it rolls back immediately or does it not change at all or does it only default after reopening the launcher or is there something else at work here?
If you set it to arma3.exe and don't restart your launcher, what happens? Does it work as intended?
Any details into what you have tried already would also certainly speed up the process. Will see what I can do tomorrow

I change it and as soon as I reload the launcher to check if it has worked it defaults to 'Arma3battleye.exe' it still doe this but, earlier I did try changing it but keeping it open it wouldn't work either but now it mysteriously does so I have to change it each time and keep the launcher open also to note, the directory path is fine no I idea why it's defaulting to open battleye which does nothing launching arma 3 loads up battleye anyway if you have it activated.

@Jalkoth I just checked by downloading the launcher for myself and trying it and my executable is set to "arma3battleye.exe" and mine works fine. Therefore this must be the correct directory and why it is defaulting there each time.
I suggest that the problem is a little bit different than it first seemed so I was wondering if you would mind popping onto teamspeak so that we can sort this out a bit more swiftly.
