I realise this could be a long and large piece of content to implement but would like to open it up for discussion. Apologies if its come up before (most likely has) but i think we need to open up the junk yard/car yard at some stage.
Ive broken it in to points for easier discussion either internally or externally. I hope this germinates some real thought about what if any of it could be implemented and how easily. trying to think of ideas that have existing items/locations in the game to minimise too much development time

- From a legal aspect first of all this could be a great spot to have items recycled down in to component parts or sold off for cash. I referred to rubbish collection in another thread but could also see a junk yard being a great spot to be able to have players (if player owned) gathering and buying and selling materials to each other. An NPC to buy items from players also which currently dont have an easy option to sell it (for new players) such as coal, coke or other metals.
- Weapons seized by the police could be melted down and sold off. This would make it a spot for potential robberies of the police if gangs were to find out about a shipment run. Seized cars and weapons could be "liberated" from the police (in STRONG RP ofc) and returned to owners.
- On an illegal aspect it could also be a spot to fence off stolen goods and cars functioning as a kind of chop shop if/when a car is stolen. This could be from a player or local either/or. A timer to be applied when the car is delivered (akin to current robberies) to give the chop shop time to chop it up obviously but also to give time for the police to respond.
- Car value would depend on class of car as to how much the pay out is. also time to fill the bar before the car thief gets paid is an idea. Higher value, longer time to complete obviously.
- Could even have an area within the yard where random junk spawns for junk collecters to go "bin diving" and see whats there to make some quick and legal cash.
