I know, I mentioned it before and it should be punished more, it's understandable that you don't want to lose an expencive rifle and go back to your house to get a new one or go in the Red Zone and get killed. Having cops not go with decent RP or documents (but documents are very rare) and saying "It's still illigal" is a pain in the ass, I've had it happen to me on cop holiday a few times.

Nah m8, I quite like them. I get to shoot a lot of ppl. They were literally made to be gold-or-die mainly and rarely rp. Banks are here literally if you have enough friends and having just a random gunfight would be pretty much useless so lets get some money. Its quicker and its fun. At least for me, even if I loose.

I think he's trying to be funny. Atleast I hope he's trying to be funny. If he's serious about what that second quote says then he's exactly the type of person that ruins the bank experience for cops.
As for John Woll, let's be honest mate, you're trying to create a shit storm. If you have suggestions on how to fix any of the issues you've stated above, post them in the suggestions forum, but don't make a departure post advertising your 2 week strike that, in all honesty, is not going to change anything. Like Syco said, to me it looks like you're just having a tantrum. If you don't like being in the police, leave. It's very simple.

Problem:
Rebels want something, Cops deny RP with fear of getting taken/killed, Rebels moan = gunfight is best way for rebels to get what they want, gunfight happens, Cops moan. Repeat.
The sad conclusion is... that, all in all Altis Life is a cops and robbers style game, both sides are not meant to see eye to eye, despite the intentions of RPUK specifically, being that all player on player encounters are encouraged to be played out with a high use of RP. Both sides, mutually, hold fears of a situations outcome, therefore result in taking the "easy way out" as described above.
Ive lost interest in the server as of recent (blame the retail Christmas rush and all the new releases), but I play on RPUK for the RP, much like @FriendlyFireGuy, and least to say I don't enjoy the current mentality of both factions, When mentoring/advising officers, I outline the importance of your TRUE primary weapon, the voice.
I believe the same applies to the criminals of the island.
Anyways sad to see you go ol' buddy ol' pal @John Woll, good luck in your travels!

Not really trying to be funny at all. It just became some kind of a joke that we just as rarity. I tried to roleplay so many times that I cant really be bothered to rp with some people. Just for the record, yesterday i rpd out of a cop killer and an ifrit, so I can rp, its just that Im sick of bad RP. I try to help people not to be a dick altho so many police, high ranking police for some god damn reason that I dont understand are just being theese dicks not allowing me to enjoy the RP and the server itself. So yeah, then I shoot people. Im not ruining it for the cops, theyre ruining it for themselves, for their behaviour in RP and outside of it. 2 out of 10 cases for me were chill conversations where we explained what has happened. Other 8, higher rank came in, or member support or whatever, laughed in my face and basically told me to fuck off. I didnt find that really funny. But whatever, I dont think anything is going to change anyways because of their ego, so yeah. Going to end the salt here, bye .

Hope you enjoy your break. A lot of us here are getting the same frustration two because of the shit RP and the constant gunfights. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon so we can all enjoy the game again.

To be honest, I have always roleplayed the HM it is a way that I can 100% get RP. You can always tell if the police officer in charge is pissed off with them as from the get go they are pretty dismissive. Last week, My gang spent hours writing documents, licences. 3 A4 pages, all detailing biography's for each person involved in our op. All playing characters. We had signatures from the Queen of the british Isle's and Cheif of Nato. WE also had signatures from MI6 But had to black box them for security reasons. (M16 OBLIVIOUSLY). They then rejected the op, and we walked with nothing. In their words it was because we didn't have a signature from the police.. You would think the queen would be enough right?
If you want decent RP on this server. start off by rewarding good rp?
Also if your a police officer on a Bank op ,and they send you documents. Dont spend 30 seconds reading it then say "I've skimmed through" then get all the details wrong.
We understand the document is long, and we are happy to wait. Reward our effort by at least putting the effort to read...

The key for succes in an RP bank op. Is asking a higherup for permission.. If you don't get this most of the time you don't get anything.

I got so bored of it I haven't logged in for a month (had a vacation too) and don't think I can be bothered. I by chance clicked the forum in my favorites and had a read to see if things have changed, doesn't look like they have so it will probably be a long time before I have another go, if ever.
