Jake Cobain - Unban Appeal (Unbanned 05/03/2015)

Good Afternoon,

Recently I have just been removed from the in game server 1# and banned from the server for no apparent reason. I was in the middle of RP'ing with fellow officers at a checkpoint, doing some routine checks of cars and so on. Upon notifying my colleagues that I had been banned over teamspeak, I was directed toward a post on the forum, saying that a "danny" and other users were to be banned etc. However I don't know why this would even result back to myself as I have never been heard of as this as my in game user is Jake Cobain, and that is the name I am known for.

Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: Because I have been banned for no apparent reason when this user isn't myself, I go under the name Jake Cobain, and have recently started my career with the altis life police force, I have been really enjoying my experience and role playing with various people whom I have met over teamspeak, and would love to carry on offering my service and dedication to the force and community.

Additionally,

After reading through the Ban Report, it looks to have been that the members that have filed the ban against the people in question have read through the server list, not noticed that there were multiple characters online at the time with the username 'Danny' which for some reason they have mis-interpreted this and taken my GUID. Furthermore I am unaware how this could have been filed against myself as I haven't even possessed a firearm on altis life as of yet.. Not even with my current role in the force as I am only an CSO.

Any ideas when this will resolved, as I have been waiting all day since filing this appeal, and the time taken has been un-considerate to say the least, being banned for the wrong doing on another, is so un-necessary.  I am wanting to get back online asap and continue my training with the altis police..

That may have been the case, as the user before my current was called Danny, but as it happens are you able to trace the other user logged in as 'Danny' at the time, which was made aware to myself by another in game player at the time, because I actually thought I had logged in twice some how, but someone said there were two under the same user. Additionally in the defence of the other player, viewing the given evidence for said ban, Player 'Danny' didn't seem to commit any RDM, as no kill appeared to have happened, but he was took out by the rest of the group anyways, just for being there with them. So even if the player 'Danny' at the time was banned correctly instead of myself, I don't believe the judgement was made fair. But that is another case, I just want to clear my own name, and continue my career with Altis Police on my current and only user now Jake Cobain. The Danny I had was my main for the standalone game where I mainly played either Battle Royale, or just spent time in the editor of the game flying jets. Thanks again for the time, and I hope the issue may be resolved as soon as possible so I can continue with my role play with fellow officers and friends. Thank you.

The person banned was banned correctly and it points to your GUID... there is no way to sign in twice from one GUID.

I can't be anymore truthful than the explanation I have myself, as I am just as confused as you are, if I had committed the stated rule break I would openly admit to the fault and take the punishment given, but as I am totally unaware as to why this as happened I can only tell you what I know myself. One of those points being that I don't know any of the users in question, as when I logged into the server on that date as my character 'Danny' I wasn't with those people. And as stated before there were two people online at the same time under the user 'Danny', one being myself, the other being, whom I would have thought this user in question, and what looks to have happened is that they have looked up 'Danny' and pulled my GUID. I would honestly admit to my wrong doing if I had known, and as I haven't even owned a weapon in Altis life yet, I am seriously confused to this. All I want is for my own name to be cleared, so I can continue role play with the Altis life police force, continuing my training and support the community. If I had done such an act, I would accept the consequences and then admit to it, hoping for a second chance, But as this isn't even the case, I would just like to clear my name and get back online as soon as possible, as this has taken a few days to get round to. But I'm being patient, as it has been worth the wait. Thanks again for your time.

The thing is i am not confused, you signed in as Danny the date and time this video took place.

It is that clearcut.

This goes as a strike, you have been unbanned for a FINAL chance.
