Issues with launcher

Hi, Just been playing the game through arma3.exe then I saw you could get a launcher so I downloaded it now when I try to join the server I get an error "Connecting failed." Does anyone know of any fixes for this or?

Since a few days, when I try to join the game via aluk launcher all I get is a black screen with the arma 3 logo in the middle and grey stripes. Is this a known problem?

I believe that the launcher is disabled on purpose to help better improve the development of the Arma3Server.exe. Having the modpack enabled could lead to false or modified logs where as the 'vanilla' Altislife/Arma3 gives the 'vanilla' logs which helps Drawden(correct me if I mistake his name) to code the next patch better.

So what does that mean in terms of me playing through the launcher? Should I just stick to the Arma3.exe and have no mod pack on ?

Just launch ARM 3 like via Steam, it should work fine if you do it that way. For now keep the modpack disabled.

You get the connecting failed because the server is full

Not necessarily Miller, when I get home from school there's usually 50-70 players on, and when I launch it through the launcher I get connection fail

Do not use the launcher, you will have problems connecting to the server atm.

Just use your normal version launched through steam.

In new launcher 1.3 Arma executable  changed to arma3battleye.exe is that correct? 

With this *.exe cant join via launcher. If i change to arma3.exe cant join aswell

I can join using laucncher to #2 server ( mods dont work yet ) but #1 server still dont let me in.
