It's quite a good card, can run most games on high-ultra but I do intend on replacing it with a 1080 once it is released. Supposedly 1080's are the equivalent of two 980ti's and that is just insane for the 600$ price!

You do know that's for marketing and in reality, it's absolute bollocks.

That's where my use of  Supposedly  came in! It cannot be too far off, Even if there is a 50% performance increase I would be happy and regardless I don't think a company can make such statements that are not mostly true.

To be honest, you're better off with the 1070 if it has the 'power of a Titan' as it will give you more space for a better CPU (money-wise).

I'm basically upgrading my entire PC soon by installing a new motherboard w/ new CPU, water cooling, another hard drive and I do want a large graphics upgrade. I do not entirely think that my CPU will be much of a bottleneck anyway as most of the things I do and games I play do not require substantial CPU power. Although a gimmick, I would love to be able to play across all my monitors at decent frames and the 1080 would make that much more of a reality.
