I just got here and I'm already leaving.

I have never seen so many assholes running around with guns in such a small area. Kavala is just filled with rebels carrying whatever weapons they want and riding around stolen cop cars, robbing and killing everyone.

As soon as I spawned I had 3 guys just run up to me and try to rob me. I told them to fuck off and consiquently they just knocked me out, saw I had nothing and ran away. I then decide that pearls is how I´m going to make money so I go to the ATM next to the DVLA and some dude just tells me to put my hands up. Again I refuse and get knocked out. I take my cash out, get to the DVLA and there he is again, again he tells me to put my hands up, I refuse and he shoots me in the leg to later knock me out and take my money. I go to the hospital, come back and decide to go to the DVLA again without passing through the ATM. There he is again, I start running and he chases me, I come to a dead end and he knocks me out.

After a long and tidious journey of getting constantly robbed I finally get all my gear and the last thing I need is a boat. I head to the ATM when I hear someone coming so I don´t take any money out. I say to him that all my gear is worth less than 10k, he just knocks me out. When I get up he tells me to put everything on the floor or he´ll shoot me. I do so and then he just tells me to leave or he´ll shoot. I say that why is he even robbing me if he isn´t even going to use the gear? Guess what? He shoots and kills me.

Where is the police?

Worst experience I´ve had with a "Life" mod server and I can only say I will not be coming back.

 
This island is full of every kind of people if you receive worst kind of RP or just overall poor you can record it and discuss with it with an admin.
and a good tip if you don't want to get robbed constantly is try to find a gang where you could join and roll with a group!

 
Best advice I can give you is to try to find a nice gang to join and build up with friends. Kavala or any money making crafts will be hard to do solo. I suggest maybe do salt, can be safe with UNMC there to protect people in their lands, and maybe join up with other salt miners for the selling part of the journey.

It really depends on the time of day you join.

Sorry that was your first encounter, this community is massive and you are bound to find many people you like.

Despite what others say, I spend most of my civ time in Kavala and it can be a good time.

Rebels run around when the cops are not online usually around 2AM - 10AM. No doubt police may still be kicking around at these hours especially on weekends however when we aren't around you can imagine the rebels run wild. Sounds like you really started of in shit creek and ended up in dog shite canyon.​

If you need some money I could provide you some money. I could also give you a truck of mine and we'll do a small copper run together, or something like that.

 
Don't leave just yet buddy. If you're having a rough time with robbers remember to send a police dispatch. we'll respond as often as possible. If you're doing legal runs like copper you can try to request police escorts. can't guarantee we'll show up as sometimes we have to priortise more serious situations. but if officers are available we'll most of the time give you a full escort. that is if you're doing legal runs. Clams are not legal so don't expect us to help you doing illegal jobs. 

Hopefully you'll reconsider leaving so soon.

Well it's always a bit sad whenever you see someone leave the community wheter they are known or not. Everyone have the potential to make a name for themselfs, being a bambi is hard and tiresome indeed. When I was a bambi I got constantly robbed (and broke rp sometimes, but shh) by different gangs.

We've all been in the hobo life and it's pretty depressing. Give it a while and things will come to, nothing is fun without a challenge. Would be sad to see another member of the community go :(

 
@RedHawk13 it would be sad to see you leave. You only just got to the island and your already leaving?

Trust me this is the best island out there with the best people watching you back.

I can totally see your frustration dude, I was this <-> fu*** close to doing the same after a week of trying and being robbed everywhere I turned, the last guy I decided to "try to be nice with" taught me the ropes of the map and made myself a bunch of friends. Give it another go and breeeathe :) a lot of nice players out there, promise.
