Hummingbird Scrapped by Police Officer.

Hello there,

This afternoon I was at the cashpoint in Athira and someone got in my chopper and crashed landed it 2m further. On my way too the helipad to get my hummingbird back a police officer scrapped and crushed it...... is this within the rules?

Was it landed in the city while you were at the cashpoint? and exactly where was it crashed?

 
Sorry, but then you need to take better care of your vehicles.

Any helicopter found in the Green Zone will be scrapped in 99% of all instances. If your's was stolen, you should of filed a 999 report. Then we might of been able to confirm why it was crashed in the green zone, and had it towed instead.

As you did not contact the police, it was crushed.

In future, I would recommend flying with two people so one can stay with the chopper at all times, should you need to land near a town for supplies. 

If you are only able to fly solo, I wouldn't leave it unattended at all. Thieves are very common, and will jump at the chance to lock-pick an unattended helicopter. Using an SUV would provide a cheaper, and affordable method to get around. And since you can drive and get out of it in front of the shops, it's very hard to steal. And if it was, it's easily replaceable. It's also very comfortable! 

 
When it was stolen did you report it to the police and describe what you just did?

All helicopters found crashed in cities are instantly crushed to show that we don't accept landings or flying over cities.

So if this helicopter was stolen and then crashed in a city without an filed report sent to the police or in person then it will be sent to the crusher so it will be reused as tin cans for Altis local breweries.
