How do you drag the tail of a blackfish during a combat landing?

in the video above, the pilot banks to the left and then the tail of the blackfish drops to reduce the speed whilst maintaining altitude. How is the tail dropping like this on each land?

I'm using the EXTREME 3D PRO joystick and each time I bank to the left and pull up on the joystick the tail does not drag, the blackfish simply glides upwards gaining altitude.

Thank you

On mouse and keyboard the best way to combat land a blackfish from full speed is to put the rotors vertical, and slam the blackfish sideways(I always do this ~ 750-1000m away from the lz to allow it time), ensuring that it doesn’t bank over 90° sideways as it can then become very hard to recover. Then you can use your rudder (Q&E default) to do smaller movements to control the tail as you land. As you do this as well, you may need to sometimes adjust the upright positioning of the rotors in order to “cushion” the landing sometimes and stop you slamming down so quickly.

I don’t fly with a joystick so I don’t know how this translates across, but hopefully this is helpful

You need to ensure you have a high speed preferebly above 400. From what you explain by it only going up, it sounds like you need to come in faster.

In that clip I would say:

0:13 - Holding A & S

0:16 - Moves on to S & D

0:20 - releases S & D and holds W in order to balance out the blackfish and level it out

The rudder is used as an aid to further turn it, however from that clip you can land like that without the use of the rudder. In that situation I don't think I would have used the rudder.

Well I use a joystick...

1. Gain speed to 350+

2. change vectoring so they're all the way up

3. turn 90 degrees, soon as you hit 70-80 degrees pull hard on the joystick, throttle down to 0

4. once you reach 210-230 speed level out

5. push on the joystick and throttle back up.

This was a while ago so I don't quite remember if it's how you specifically do it but I think what I've explained it all correctly
