I fell like there is a gap in the character progression when starting the server between the point of starting a new character and buying your first property/place of residence. During this time you
are effectively homeless and potentially have access to a vehicle or two which you can access at upper legion like normal but have nowhere to stash any valuables or weapons. I know from
talking to other members of the community who have also had the same idea that the implementation of a Hotel would be a well used feature.
Im not entirely sure how it would function but here is my best guess at it.
One of the issues or gripes people will have with his idea is that it might replace the need from players to buy houses. To prevent this the room a player rents will have storage capability but only a
limited amount for example a max of 250 slots and will not have any ability for weapon storage, This will allow the player to store some items in their hotel room but will still force them to buy
a house eventually for weapon storage or to place a weapon workbench etc. The individual hotel rooms will come already furnished and set in place like a standard hotel room with a bed,
wardrobe, cupboard/storage as well as bathroom facility's.
As the hotel will be a stepping stone in terms of a players accommodation the charge will be low and based off a in game day cycle for example being charged the fee off $100 dollars plus $50
maintenance and room service fees per day which i believe to be around the 40 minuet mark but i may be mistaken. The Hotel could have a few more luxerous rooms / penthouses that could
cost $500 per day cycle but have much more luxurious interiors and city views. Each resident will be able to store one car at the Hotel parking.
There is potential for the Hotel to be a player owned establishment or just to be an open building with menu functions that involve no player to player interactions. If the the Hotel was a player
owned property each player will have to book a room using the hotel owner whereby the rent will be paid to the owner himself automatically like the other in game bushiness's. Another
expansion to this could be a Hotel restaurant/cafe to provide guests with refreshments, The Hotel owner could make deals with the other players who own food establishments to supply the hotel
increasing bushiness RP opportunity's.
(I know this idea has been around the community for a while but i thought ill actually get it down in writing. Im not sure how it would work exactly but that is my interpretation of it)
