Since it's starting to really get to me and it just wont cool down, I decided to post something about what happened over the past few days.

I don't want to stay silent and I don't have to take every insult people throw at me.

As some of you may have noticed, certain members of the TCK gang decided to be quite abusive towards me. What started with a bit of banter, turned into something unenjoyable. I uploaded the footage of what happened and it resulted in a ban. Since then, other members of their gang are messaging me on my youtube channel, downvoting my videos, calling me a toxic person and so on.

As well, I uploaded a video of me playing and encountering some weird roleplay. I tried to show everyone, in a humorous way - what it's like for female players and what kind of bizarre people we encounter - which as well resulted in people being abusive towards me and me being reported. 

Anyway - I don't want to accept an apology of someone who said he would smash my backdoor in, someone whos first ever words to me where that I basicly stink of shit and he has so much money he could buy me. Or of someone who said he would shave my pussy. If you really, really think that something like that is okay and only a bit of banter - you're part of the problem. Also don't expect me to just stand there, stay quiet and NOT talk back. 

Id appreciate it if the TCK members (I know it's not all of them) could stay off my youtube channel and stop telling me Im a toxic person for simply recording and uploading some of their members behaviour.
I don't care if you guys keep disliking my videos or talk about me behind my back, Im just a bit upset that you seem to think it's okay how they treated me and act like it's my fault.

I've met a few other female players on this server, some of them play for about 2 days until they just disappear and never play again, simply due to the fact that they have to face horrible insults thrown towards them.

ANYHOW, I had some amazing roleplay on this server, made some friends and being "robbed" by Spanners and his crew was actually fun and a great example of how it could be. As well as most of the police force being very friendly and always up for a laugh!

Thank you for the support over the past few days and the kind words, it's really appreciated and shows me that there is hope that things may change one day.

It would be nice if people could let go of what happened and move on, I tried to do the same  but some of you keep messaging me and It's just starting to get quite annoying.

So please, try and see it from a different point of view - would you like it if people would speak to your girlfriend / friend / sister / mother like that?

And no, I don't have to expect this kind of  harassment, simply because Im playing online and Im a girl, gaming is for everyone and I don't get why it's so hard for some people to be normal for a bit.
I really don't get why we can't just get along and have a bit of fun together. And yes, there is nothing wrong with a bit of banter, but there are limits.

I uploaded a little video, its unlisted and shows a few clips of what goes on and the people I encounter - its UNLISTED so don't go apeshit on me. Maybe this helps to see things in a different light..

That's about it, I would just really like if some of you could just leave me be and just let go of it, or maybe even try and see it from my point of view for a second.

I agree, I am quite a young person on the server and I got quite a lot abuse for it as well and it was horrible. Just ignore them. They are just jealous IMO.  I am ashamed that people can go this low just because some people have a slightly higher voice. Truly horrible and has to stop NOW.

Girls and boys I will be watching this thread. Please don't say something stupid enough to get yourself banned. 

 
I agree with you a lot of people are very toxic and sexually harrassing towards female players and need to buck up their ideas before they get the ol' boot up the ass. I think to an extent if you know said person some banter back and forth will take place and therefore be seen as casual banter between friends. As a member of TCK as you have mentioned please do not hold the actions of more so Kennedy Jones or Pee Money as those that are of TCK and their actions were acted upon solely of themselves and I can do nothing but apologise for the way you were treated. You should be able to enjoy the server as any other person can. @Nana

 
Section 1 in the rules is the easiest section to follow, however the one people follow the least. Its one of the reasons I quitted playing on this server, the maturity-standards is at a all time low (At least last time I played). And I do not mean only the younger ones. I'm also talking about high-standing, long-standing people, civilian or whitelisted. However, there majority of the community is able to act mature. But, the very few that come up to you and just dont understand the concept of roleplay and/or maturity destroys the whole feel for me. It is not hard to act mature, but unfortunately some boys gets a kick from being rude towards a girl. I guess theire compensating for something. 

All in all, we who treat women and men alike, know who will suffer with their lovelife and general life.

Lovelife 101: Dont call a girl transsexual; it will not get you laid.

well said sir, we're a community of voices and no one should have to fear using their voice when a line is crossed. Not just the one the hard voices crash upon, but those islands in the sea hearing the waves pass by.

 
This is just disgusting. I think people just need to cool off the iron. This is quite bothering how much hate been coming out this weekend. Like its Christmas goodness sake.

 
I really don't understand why people behave like this, I would like to say that they are the immature minority of a large group of players but its still unacceptable. Just remember kids: when in doubt, don't be a dick.

 
Ahh people are so different when they notice a girl in game its so bad. Remember when i recorded a hobo doing the same thing to the admin steph for a long time over 17 months ago haha. Not sure why that PCSO was such a cunt to you for no reason , clearly wouldn't have done it if it was some guy playing on the server.

I think everyone needs to realize also that it wasn't just TCK members who have said similar things, although we can all agree that it isn't appropriate, i think in your case @Fergussyou have to remember that arma being an 18 rated game, and being in an adult community, you will be faced with what might be seen as 'inappropriate' banter.
At the end of the day it IS meant for 18's+, so although i'm not saying it's appropriate, you have to expect it really.

In regards to the 'sexual harassment' POV, I do completely agree that NON of what was said was appropriate, BUT equally, a lot of people are trying to 'shame' members of the community ONLY because the reporters are female, now that might seem completely unrealistic but i'm sure 99% of you will agree, and rather than to keep making sly comments / posts about the situation, implement some sort of rule and / or if you're receiving any of this in-game, remove yourself from the situation.

We have to remember that although as I said, this is an ADULT community, many people who aren't 'adults' play on the server, this will always result in stupid things being said, whether it be racist, sexist, abusive or whatever, and that those few individuals should not represent an entire gang or the community. 
 

With all PC games / communities there will be trolls or whatever word you'd like to describe them, BUT the easiest thing to do, and let's be honest the most obvious thing to do, is either not let it get to you, as these are people talking through a computer screen in a virtual world, OR just remove yourself from the situation.  ALTHOUGH i do understand how it's difficult, especially if you've got a whole group of people shouting abuse etc.

All i can do is apologize for some of our members actions what they have done is completely unacceptable and nobody should have to listen to this as its absolutely disgusting.

We have a lot of good members in our gang and i hope that by the reckless actions of a few amongst us we are not seen in the same reflection as those.

I hope the next time you have a encounter with TCK it is a more positive one than you have experienced in the last week are so.

I am sure that most of you have spoken to a women in real life... If not then this is not how to go about it. Now, would you speak to a women in the middle of the street like this? I am sure that most of you would not. So, why do some of you deem in necessary to speak to a women, who is trying to play a game like this? How do you think this makes here feel? If you spoke to @Nana in real life, would you speak to here like this? You wouldn't! So, just because you are behind a screen, most of you think that you are big and when you see a women you can make her feel like shit and treat her like shit, it is wrong... She is still a real person who has feeling. So, this has got to STOP and I can see why not many females play on a role playing community, because all of the guys decide to get there dicks out and treat them like shit.

Tommy, if the people didn't act like stupid kids and get an erection every time they see a girl, then we wouldn't be here, you say it is an 18+ game, but some of the people who are over 18 act like complete dick heads to the women that try and come and have some fun on the server!

So all of the people that are doing it, grow up and show some respect because none of you, or most of you, would do this in real life and stop ruining other peoples gaming experience. 

Anyway, that is all from me, but to the people that have done this, you should be disgusted in yourself and I feel sorry if you do have a girlfriend in real life, because I am sure that she wouldn't be happy if she knew how you spoke to girls in-game!

Well this makes me very disappointed and angry to see there was even more behavior like that I've been here for a long time and I have seen a lot of things. It's fucking disgusting to see people harassing because what others looks or sounds like. End of all we are all here for fun it's not gonna make you a big boy alpha lion for how much you can roast someone.

I would like to point at something what seems to be funny it is not always to the both parties! Hopefully this topic will get to people who's doing something like this and would look himself towards mirror and realizes how childish that is, Drama Lama out!

 
I have spent most of my adult life trying to create situations that enable females to participate in video games and enjoy them to the same extent that males do - and with a great deal of success, I must say.

But the thing which always gets in the way, is testosterone.

For those of you who don't know what it is, or haven't started producing it yet, it's a drug which turns men into idiots.

For those of you who do already know what it is, just be aware that whatever you think you believe about female PMS, you have your own cross to bear, and testosterone is around 24/7, whereas progesterone is only around one week in four. And all of us have testosterone; the difference is, women have it in moderation, men have it in spades and some men cannot control their reaction to it.

That said, I'm not going to sit back and excuse the behaviour of idiots on the basis of a chemistry lesson. Whether you can or cannot control your reaction to your own testosterone is of little importance in our decision to ban you. That decision will be made purely on the basis of how you behave. To any player, not just to women.

If you think you might be a secret sufferer of testosterone-related problems, please read the helpful guide on the front page, under the heading 'RULES'. Pay particular attention to the rules numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.7.

We at RPUK will not tolerate breaches of those rules, where complaints are made and/or if we are given sufficient evidence of such a breach. It would be my utter delight and pleasure to throw transgressors out of the nearest airlock and into deepest ban-space, for a very long time. There, all alone and by themselves, they can play with their testosterone-reducing release-valve organ to their heart's content, and abuse themselves instead of other, innocent people.

I hope I have made our position abundantly clear.

Right. I would just like to add to everyone. Actions of two people do not reflect on the whole gang. I know plenty of people in TCK who are excellent at roleplay and have a great position within our community. Do not let the actions of two people reflect on the rest of the gang. Yes some members are in the video, however they have been dealt with, I don't want their gang name to be tarnished due to silly people.

TCK, The guys who know they have no involvement in this you do not need to worry, the rest of the community value you here as great roleplayers!
