Glad you have heard good things. You have joined one of the best communities. If you have any issues or need general help with arma 3 just hop onto Teamspeak and people can help you out. 

Also there is lots of guides on the forums so make sure to read them.

I happened to have read the rules last night, and may I say I have never seen a rules list so organized before!  You guys are really professional!
