by any chance can someone guide me in the right direction I have just download arma 3 upon seeing altis life, I try to join a server but a red cross to the left un allows me. please help on what I should do, be descriptive if possible too. many thanks

im not sure if I have any mods enabled is that when you go into arma 3 then go configure then if the boxes are clicked ? also I downloaded arma 3 from steam then clicked properties and done altis life that way ...

also may I add that when I try and click on the server it says "bad version server rejected connection"

[SIZE=13.1999998092651px]"Bad version, server rejected connection". This basically means that the server and the client versions of Arma 3 aren't the same, and therefore can't run. Try updating arma 3. Set it to  high priority in your arma3 settings. Exit steam(not close exit so right click the steam tag and exit steam) Then open steam again and see if arma 3 updates any further .[/SIZE]

would it be worth trying to remove it then install it again ?

There should be a quicker fix but i'm pretty sure that would work to.

Verify files via steam

Make sure it's up to date

Discriptivness missing as I am on my phone
