Help me build a computer

@Just IL Sea Lion I love Dell U and P series monitors, we use them in work (though not 4k) and they are just fantastic. One thing to note though - you MUST use a DisplayPort 1.2 specification cable with that monitor and your graphics card to get 4k@60Hz, otherwise you are limited to 30Hz and it will limit your FPS to 30.

"Only the DP 1.2 and MiniDP 1.2 ports support 60Hz at the native resolution of the monitor, whereas HDMI and DP 1.1 is limited to 30Hz at the native resolution."

So any suggestion? Im buyingthis pc so i can play in more then 60 #Rip what about dvi cable? Supporting 60 mhz? Like now im using hdmi cable with adapter to my screen xD

If you plan on 4k gaming you will most definitely need a better monitor as stated by the community tech support members. I would suggest on buying a HDMI 2.0 cable, and a monitor that supports the 2.0 HDMI cable. The HDMI cable is only up to 60Hz as for as i know tough.

Ssd is just fast storage.

Any monitor is fine, but if you want 4k it must support 60hz and they require display port, not hdmi.

Hdmi will only give you 30hz and will look stuttery.

I guess a display port would work to, but doesn't HDMI 2.0 allow for 60 frames per second at 4k?

For the particular Dell P2415Q display he had picked out, it was mandated that it use the latest DP standard rather than HDMI.

It depends on if the display has true support for HDMI2.0, the cable is a genuine 2.0 spec, and the GPU. The display if it's 4k, some 'cheaper' models are not a single true 4k panel, and are instead a panel of panels. Have a look at displayPort MST/SST.

In the 1080 gtx i think there isnt HDMI 2.0 and if i current its gone work awesome with the DP

So for summray is the resulotion of that monitor good and Support 4k with DP and should i buy it? With the current right?

( Also wich OS and wich DVD  and sound board i should pick )

Im looking forwad to buy this right if its good and worth the money

Do please if you can do tweaks if needed and let me know like for exampel is the gpu and mobo not to heavy on the cpu?

Well considering the awesome cpu cooler i added and The case fan is good or i should add the 2 120mm ? ( They cheap so if i can add and disable/ enable if needed

Fuuuuu my pc didnt save the Rig im out tierd from this ?????

Oh, thanks for telling my Zeito. I was a bit confused. Btw i have read about those cheap(er) multipanel ''4k'' displays. They suck!
As for your questions lion, the OS is pure preference, but you should probably get either windows 7 or windows 10, many people like windows 7.
And the DVD isn't necessary these days, but if you really want one you can pick just about any DVD. The CPU should be able to handle the components (mostly the GPU since we are talking about a gaming rig) easily. I have to go now, but I can tell you something about the cooling of your pc tomorrow, or Zeito might be able to tell you sooner.

The 1080 GTX will have HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. Any monitor you buy is going to be good, i would recommend you go for a 2560x1440p 144Hz screen. 4k is all well and good, but some things might struggle to run smooth at 60Hz. 2560x1440p 144Hz is a good top-end res.

OS - Windows 10 Pro 64 bit would be my choice, but you can always go for Home Edition if you want to save some money.

DVD - Doesnt really matter to be honest, are you really going to need it? I bought one for my pc and didn't fit it for about 2 years.

GPU and Mobo are fine for the CPU you have picked.

The Cooler is fine, you dont need any additonal 120mm fans as it will come with 2x to be fitted to it and you wont have the space for them. THe case has 2 front fans fitted and likely has a rear 120mm fan already.

Any other questions? :)

@Just IL Sea Lioni always check the price in ksp / ivory / bag, must of the time's ksp is the cheapest but i would still recommend you to double check
