Hello and help?

Hello all, 

I'm completely new to Altis life, been watching people play it on YouTube for a while now and finally decided I would try it.

After a hellish install (many different YouTube videos stating different things.) many download links that led me to be accused of cheating from a couple of servers I tried to connect to.

I finally managed to get a French server which made no sense to whatsoever. Which wasn't the best experience I have to say.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction for a correct way of installing Altis life?

Altis Life does not require any mods. If you've installed any mods, you must either remove them from your system or disable them within Arma III - otherwise you won't be able to connect.

you better delete your arma3 completly and reinstall it from steam and join our server

I may have to yes, I've installed Arma 3 Life rather Altis Life. Google mislead me  .
