Helicoptors in the city

- Any Helicoptor in flight should be avaliable to contact on radio frequency 15 (ATC), failure to comply opens you to hostile action from the Police when repeatedly flying in a dangerous manner.

Context:

It is a common occurance for stolen local helicoptors to be used and flown dangerously at street level, used for terrorism crimes and land at major landmarks such as pillbox causing a nuisance. The only real way for Police to intervene with this without breaching RDM is to call in the air force who are not always avaliable.

Pros:

Increases the realism of how helicoptors are managed and used

Reduces the impact helicoptors  have when disrupting RP

Enable roleplay in a situation where roleplay is near impossible

Wording of the rule prevents police from using it to target gangs who are using it to faciltate crime.

Cons:

Prevents a pilot from communicating on their normal freq (mitigated by dual band radio or encouraging the use of a copilot in rp)

Its almost as if that all aircraft should be on a radio frequency that they would be contactable on via air traffic controllers/law enforcement and if not would be escorted or shot down by the Royal Air Force

the ATC system on arma was basically the definition of "land/fly off, or get shot down" over a dispatch(which is not allowed to be done to police so it shouldn't be the other way, not really what we want to do on fivem.

(G7.4) Using the in game phone to warn police You are unable to use the ingame phone to warn the police for example "“Any cops seen within ‘x’km will be shot on site”

It doesn't make sense for ground patrol units to have access to an ATC radio to warn aircraft.

It doesn't make sense for ground patrol units to have access to an ATC radio to warn aircraft.

It also doesn't make sense for gang members to steal helicopters and use them to shoot and scout, the minute you even stole the aircraft you'd be shot down, you can consider the leeway we give you now a blessing.
