With a lot of people's hairstyles that they have, the 'hairband' default style doesn't make much sense, often making peoples hair grow, or drastically change colour.
A solution to this, in my opinion would be to allow people to choose a '2nd hairstyle' which would then be toggled to when the hairband item is used.
This would allow people to select hairstyles that make more sense, and allow for more RP with it. IE People could 'put their hair in a ponytail' etc.
Only thing would be we would have to ensure people did not use this to drastically change the way they look within a matter of seconds.
Not sure how much dev work this would take but I feel it would be a cool addition to the system, and make it more useable for a lot of players.-
