Hello @Exorcistwas this a one time issue or do you keep experiencing it on your character?

Your previous hair only stays for your current session so if you disconnected whilst having the hairband on that'd be why.

in the video provided I used the hairband and couldn't remove it 
it also happens when putting on masks and hats
