Hello everyone.

So yesterday (14-09-15) i download this "picture" file my "friend" from a previous server sent me, but somehow i couldn't open this picture.

Today (15-09-15) i came to school and got told by friends "Why did you text me that?" I was confused and had no idea. So i found out my Facebook was hacked.

After school, i come home to play Arma (Steam worked). So i open Arma, join the server, and BAM! Banned..

After not being able to play, i wanted to fix my issue with Facebook. So i sent a request to change password, type my email information, aaaand it's hacked.

I am pretty sure that "picture" was a keylogger, so i have now reset my computer to factory settings, and should be sorted.

But i am saying goodbye for now, since i do not have enough money for a new game atm, but also because i might try something new.

What does the ban message say ? They would of had to of massively gone out of there way to got you a global ban ?

 
If  I'm not completetly mistaken then individual servers can whitelist your GUID so you can still join their servers but no other

Please do correct me

We cannot overwrite BE Global Bans, we could overwrite the old reporter system but actual BE Global hack bans, we cannot. The same thing here happened to Vacatio aswell, he got banned for a virus that was alot less malicious than the one you were infected with. BE informed him that he was banned for other reasons than hacking, yet they refused to unban him

@Vacatio may be able to tell you a bit more.

 
Is it not possible to family share your Arma 3 to another steam account and continue to play without buying a new copy?

 
Same thing happend to me mate, either the G2A seller fucked me over or i had a virus, had to reinstall windows and everything. :|
