guidelines on player run shops/businesses

Just wanted to ask for information/guidance on player run businesses? Is it a big task to manage a business? does it require a lot of money in the bank? can ownership be shared amongst multiple people? are there any businesses available at the moment or plans to expand to have any new ones in the future?  

Would just like to hear people's experiences with it mostly as I am curious and wonder if it might be something I would like to try out in the future.

Initially, but it's a great way to make money

Don't think so currently and I'm sure there'll be more in the future

Thanks both. Is £100k starting capital enough to own a shop/business? beyond purchasing said business i mean. Or are we talking closer to £500k? just thinking ball park figures here.
